Hi,
Our female budgie is swollen in the rear end and occasionally bleeds from there.
We first thought she had an egg stuck, but on closer inspection it is a general swelling, unfeathered.
She was part of a breeding pair, but the male died a couple of months back, but she was still like this when he was alive.
She doesn't seem to be fretting since the loss of her partner, still has a good appetite, and is still very active.
Any ideas as to what the problem could be?
Our local vet doesn't know much about birds, so he's no help. |
