Thanks for your reply. The 2 youngest birds are probably 9 months to a year. The others are likely 3-5 years. While I cannot think of any unusual changes to their environment, is it possible that daily disturbances stress them? We don't cover them, and often after they settle down for the night, we come into the room and turn on the lights and TV. They become very active and compete noisily with the TV. So the TV gets louder, and they get louder, and the TV gets louder.... Might such disturbance contribute to this? Woould it help to cover them? When we finish our remodeling, they will be moved upstairs where it will usually be much quieter in the evenings. Thank you. |
