Hi Im a budgie owner and just came across your site. I was searching for information as my budgies have twitterpated and produced 3 offspring. So that being said... I dont really have any questions about that as of yet due to the great info on your site (Bravo!!) I do however have a question about winterizing your birds. My father has this idea in his head that if I built a cage in my garage and made it so that the birds can go outside into another cage, that they can stay out there all winter. I recall him doing this when I was a child, however I dont recall whether or not the birds survived. So, that is what I would like to know. Can they survive the Canadian winter months as long as they have a shelter from the cold?
Thanks and keep up the great site! Corinne. |
