well scaly face...not very nice or comfortable for the budgie.
well Scaly face is caused by a skin burrowing mite called Knemidocoptes, which causes irritation and therefore the bdgie produces unsightly deformations, nd this is called Scaly face, this can also happen n legs and feet.
To treat this you could take your budgie to a vet or use IVERMECIN or also BENZYL BENZOATE, from a pharmacy, do remember the latter is used for scabies in humans!
Both solutions kill the mite. al perches cage etc shouldthen be cleaned and disinfected following treatment and this should sort your prolem.
