Well thank you for using My Budgie Bible...
It is perfectly safe to have a peek into a nest box every now and then...once a day is fine as you will have to check whether the chicks are okay and same for the parents...just handle the birds as little as possible. Breeding pairs normally are not as tame as its hard to keep on top of taming a bird when they are feeding chicks etc. try not to play witht the male that often as he has a duty to feed the hen who will later feed the chicks! |
