Nerds GTFO off my page, I am banning all of you
Attention to all you nerds who have suddenly plagued my page with insults and propaganda. Cease posting your infantile words or i will be issuing permanent bans. I have also made a record of all the email addresses sending me spam. It clearly states NO SPAM. Why do you send me crap? My inbox is cluttered with ****. So **** you. Why do you insult my work? It has gotten good reviews. Alot of my friends have said it was suspenseful and had a good plot. A killer combination for a horror story. I am a simple man, making a simple living, leave me alone, or devil karma will get you. This is your final warning. |

Aaron, do you even know HOW to proofread? Have you ever heard of the "Elements of Style" By Strunk & White, or "On Writing" by Stephen King (who you are most definitely NOT dethroning, idiot)? Put the Ouija board down, stop pretending you're some awesome dark gothy bad ass, take a ******* writing class, and quit posting fake reviews from your protagonist on Amazon.com. Or just keep writing abysmal **** at the 3rd grade level and getting ass pats from your buddies. |

Aaron- you complain heavily of name-calling and insults, but resort to classifying the Diggers and "NERDS!" RUBBISH! Tou che' Sir, I am a 'nerd', or geek, or whatnot. I am also a college graduate with a background in literature, and I daresay, the atrocities against language committed by you in this 'novel' are the stuff of nightmares. Every author, poet, play write, journalist, nay every WRITER must learn to take criticism of their work as a step towards improving their style. You have received patronizing reassurances from those that love you, flames from trolls, and genuine critique of serious flaws evident throughout your 'published' works. I suggest you ignore the first two, and concentrate on the last category. Only then will you have a leg to stand on with regard to challenging the harsh words of others. That being said, you put it out there, you reap what you sow. |

I now understand the redundancy in the title of your forums. Calling it "horrific" simply wouldn't do it justice. You should probably emancipate a plan from your brain to hang yourself hangingly. Unfortunately, I'm sure of all the things your brain could emancipate, it would never emancipate that. ubad. On the bright side, I know several people who are ordering your book simply b/c of how spectacularly terrible it is. |

Lorca- You can be as flippant and dismissive as you please, it's a public forum (another grave mistake it would appear, dear author) and so we are all entitled to express our opinions. Do I talk like that amongst friends? Not usually; it, of course, depends upon the friends. Needless to say, the sheer fact that I am able to present myself in a 'pseudo-fancy' manner demonstrates the greater understanding of the nuances of the English language I possess in comparison to your friend Aaron. If you are one of the friends who read this the woeful novel before it was published you have done your friend a great disservice, and are much more deserving his ire than I. |

Dear God, people, is this all coming from the review on Amazon.com? All the jokes and digs all seem to resemble the quotations depicted on the one massive review. So the writing isn't exactly Nabokov. Big deal. There are a ton of things out there that are horribly written--from songs, to articles, to screenplays. What's the point of coming on here and making fun of one guy? If it makes your day better for doing so, then you don't have much going for you, especially if it's been kept up for this long. I mean, I'm not sure what you want. Do you want Aaron to say that he's a bad writer? That's just mean and silly. He did his best. He got his writing out there. And it's been unfavorably reviewed by many. Don't buy the book if you're not interested. What else has he done to merit all these attacks? I assume replying in the fashion that he has hasn't helped his cause either. I would advise Aaron to just ignore the comments or ban people when you want to instead of making threats to ban them. It's your forum. So why exactly are you putting up with this? |

Aaron: 99% of the people posting here really have no clue about writing or the English language. I have seen them butcher the English language day in and day out with their comments. Sure you made a few errors and sometimes the sentences may read like razors on a chalkboard, but that's not the case everywhere. Follow your dream.. don't listen to the haters... most of them are living with their parents and have no clue about taking a step outside their basement. But I don't really need people's approval, least of all from people whose goal in life is to try to put others down to make themselves feel better. It's just a little childish and pathetic. |

You're absolutely correct, in the long run, none of this matters at all. It's the internet, some people were correct, some people unnecessarily harsh, some people trolls, etc. I've no reason think you will take anything said to you today to mind, but I do have to admit, you've reacted very reasonably, and in a great sense, MUCH better than most of your critics likely would have if they were in your situation. Keep writing, do try to practice, writing is like all things, and improves with repetition, and remember, if you put it out there, it will be critiqued. Cheers. |

wasnt going to post a **** thing at this hellhole, but aaron, if you're by chance going to look at any of this.... you should read those last two entries...together they kind of really tell a truth i think keep working on your writing just dont publish again until at least a small press publisher takes an interest...even if theyre not buying, by showing interest in your work it will mean youre approaching the level where you should be putting yourself out there to be read and commented on....see what happens when you call atention to yourself too early in your career? forget all this, abandon it all. in a few years submit some stuff under a pseudonym and then 20 years later you can reveal the truth and have a laugh about it cheers Thanks for the advice. Really though, I don't plan on publishing under a pseudonym. I've done nothing wrong. I wrote something, got it out there, and that's that. The people who came trolling in can try to make it seem as though I've done something wrong, but I haven't. I haven't killed anyone, haven't hurt anyone, haven't instigated any fights. What do I need to hide from? I don't really buy into the idea that there's something wrong with me. I write because I love to write, and I've set up this site because it's fun for me. I don't really care if people try to bash me. When they cure cancer or do something important, they can come to me, and I'll be the first to congratulate them. But as far as I can see, they're just browsing the internet, looking for cheap thrills. When it comes down to it, I'm not the one who needs to write under a pseudonym. But thanks for your kind words.
