Mr Edwards (RIP)
In case you missed it, former DHS principal Benjamin James "Jimmy" Edwards died August 8, 2007. He was 99. Mr Edwards was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Elizabeth Edwards. He was a charter member of Donelson Kiwanis Club, Hall of Fame member of TSSAA and former President and member of Board of Control of TSSAA for 28 years. He served as principal of Cumberland, Dupont and Donelson High Schools for almost four decades. He was a life time member of Andrew Price United Methodist Church. Interment was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. |
