Florida, Here We Come!
Its been a long winter, Guss fans! The cold, snow and ice has piled on this winter, so its time to head south to warm things up for at least a weekend! Ray, Julie, Robert and the RC RaceCars 112 Mod Team will be leaving for Florida the second week in February. They will be heading back to the East Bay Modified Winter Nationals once again, this time as the Defending Champions of the event! The modified week begins with a practice session on Wednesday, February 13th followed by races on the three succeeding nights, Thursday, Friday and Championship Night - Saturday. The 112 Team is taking an all new, nearly all black RC RaceCars modified with a big-time horsepower Custom engine under the hood back to the event that features $11,000 in winning purses over the three nights. The big payoff comes on Saturday night with an $8,000 winner's share. I will post updates as quickly as I can on how Ray does each night. It don't look like it. I have to travel to Las Vegas on the 18th for a meeting and other entertainment then to Lathrop Ca. for a round of negotiations with a company. I sure would like to go an watch Ray race. My wife and grandsons have talked about going but have not made any arrangements yet. Hope to see you two soon at the races. |
