ENDO
I DID NOT KNOW THAT THIS SITE WAS ALSO AVAIABLE FOR SUPPORT I USUALLY USE ANOTHER ONE. IT IS NICE TO KNOW THAT THEIR ARE MORE OUT THERE. I HAVE ENDO FOR ABOUT 15YRS AND QUITE A FEW LAPS. I AM ON LUPRON AND SO FAR IT SEEMS TO BE WORKING FOR MY PAIN. THE SIDEEFFECTS ARE NOT THAT GREAT BUT I AM MANAGING THE BEST I CAN. I AM NOW HAVING BLADDER PROBLEMS ON TOP OF ALL THIS.I NOW HAVE BLOOD IN MY URINE WHICH IS COMING FROM THE ENDO ON MY MY BLADDER WHWICH IS MAKING THE BLOOD VESSELS LEAK. I GO BACK TO THE GNO TOMORROW AND I EXPECT THAT HE WILL WANT TO DO ANOTHER LAP. I HAVE BEEN THING THE LAST FEW DAYS ABOUT A HYSTO. I WANT CHILDREN SO BAD. AND I DO NOT HAVE ANY. I CHOOSE TH ELUPRON TO BUY ME TIME BUT I FEEL LIKE I AM GIVING UP ON THIOS FIGHT THIS WEEK. WILL A HYSTO MAKE ME BETER AND IS THIS PAIN AND SIDE EFFECTS ALL WORTH IT? I HOPE IT IS I GUESS I JUST NEED SOME POSTIVIE OUT LOOK I GUESS. WELL I AM GLAD YOU LADIES ARE OUT THERE AND I AM NOT ALONE |

Hi Nikkie. Welcome to the forum, it is wonderful that Lori has created a site that can support the body, mind and spirit. You are definitely not alone. I am so sorry to hear of your endo-related issues. I cannot imagine what you've been going through to be in a frame of mind where having a hysto is what it might take to get you on a path toward healing. I simply cannot imagine. While I won't minimize the struggles I have had, my heart really goes out to people like you whose struggles are beyond what I have experienced. Nikkie, don't give up--let others give you the strength you need to help carry you through your struggles. We might not have all the answers, but perhaps we can help you look deep inside yourself so you can find those answers for yourself. Thinking of you, Melanie |

Hi Nikki & Welcome here! I am so sorry you are suffering. I hope you can get relief from medicine, but you may also want to look at some other creative ways that are out their to deal with this disease. Did you know that some women are finding the endo diet to be helping tremendously. Also some are getting relief from accupuncture & others with herbs, vitamins & more. I find it quite amazing that we do not hear of this in standard medicine, but no offense to the medical field as they are not taught this route. I just wanted to offer you some hope with other options also-see the natural treatment & endo diet page, but do keep in mind that I support anyone who goes on Lupron & I pray that it works for you. I hope you can find some relief. I will be praying ok. Let us know how it goes at your appt.  I know how it is when you need to vent, so I hope you can feel comfortable here. Hello Nikkie, Welcome!I have not been dealing with this anywhere near as long as you have. But I have also considered a hyst. I have one daughter with no real hope of having anymore children. I can't entirely understand your pain with fertility but i do know what it feels like to desperatly want a child. I've considered the hyst. option just in hopes that i can be the mom that my daughter deserves. But there is that question of whether it would really make it all end. I hope your appt goes well. I have looked into the endo diet and will be trying that in conjuction with the lupron and continuing once I am done with the lupron. It can't hurt. Amy |

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT. HAS ANYONE HAD PAIN MANAGMENT? MY DOCTOR IS WORKING ON GETTING ME INTO A PAIN CLINIC. HE THINKS I SHOULD QUALIFY FOR ONE. HE TJINKS HE GIVES ME TO MANY PAIN PILLS. I LIKE TO SEE HOW HE DOES WITH THIS PAIN. ANYWAY REALLY INTESTED TO SEE IF ANYONE HAS GONE DOWN THIS PATH AND WHAT THEY OUT COME WAS. |
