Your symptoms
I was just wondering what symptoms everyone else has. And the pain, is located in only one spot or all over or what? Here are mine: *painful, heavy periods (lots of clots, sometimes black blood )*painful bowel movements & painful urination-sharp, crampy feeling (mostly during my period) *PAIN PAIN PAIN! *fatigue *Constipation (really bad during period, currently taking zelnorm) *bloating *swollen lower abdomin *painful sex *nausea (sometimes) *anemic *irritable, grumpy (oh boy am I b**** to be around, its gotten really bad, Im always short with people, but I try not to be, the only people Im really bad with is my family and my boyfriend who is driving me crazy) *axiety attacks (these started about a week ago, I havent had an anxiety attack for almost 2 years) *depressed (just started feeling this way, just sad and upset all the time) And my pain started out on the right side and now its all over in my lower abdomin, but sometimes I notice it other places but I think thats related to my intestines. I still dont know if I have IBS or Endo. So my gyno put me on zelnorm which helps me go more regularly and kinda helps the bloating but it doesnt help anything else. Thanks for listening girls! |

Hi! Because a lot of your probs are the same as mine, I just cut copied and pasted them and then made the proper changes to suit me. Note that currently I am pretty much pain free because of 6 mos of Lupron and a year of BCP's (which I recently stopped) *painful, heavy periods (lots of clots). I also had what I thought were hemroids. That is until my BF told me he had them. He explained what they were and felt like and mine were not hemroids. They felt like a knife up my rectum. So bad I couldn't move. If I was sitting and the pain it, I was no longer sitting. Happened especially during my periods while I was having a b.m.. *painful bowel movements & painful urination-sharp, crampy feeling. I still had the urination pain even after the Lupron & BCP's. The Dr's couldn't find any sign of infection. *PAIN PAIN PAIN! I would have what I call Endo attacks. For example... One day I walked into a thrift shop. I was perfectly fine. Just got off of work. Was there about 2 minutes when the pain attack came. I told my BF that I hurt and needed to go home. Before we were even in the car I hurt so bad that I was dripping sweat and had to have him help me in the car. My pain attacks are very debilitating (sp). *fatigue. Mainly when I am depressed. When I was on my BCP's and was really depressed, I pretty much slept all day. *Constipation (really bad during period) REALLY bad during periods! *bloating *swollen lower abdomin *painful sex *nausea. My nausea was mainly during my period or during an endo pain attack *irritable, grumpy (Well I guess it comes with the territory) LOL! *depressed. Although I do think just the fact of having Enod and dealing with it causes a lot of depression. I found that my BCP's cause most of mine for some reason. Possibly hormonal reasons. When I quit taking them, I returned to the normal me. You mentioned in another email about wanting to feel like "YOU" again. I say this all of the time. I really truely feel like you change so drastically when dealing with Endo that you pretty much become a different person. I miss the old me. I definately feel this way when I am in my BCP depression. Christie |

Hi Alisia! I am so sorry that you are suffering. Yes add me to the list of symptoms also. I think the only one I did not experience was pain with urination. The others yes they were all their. I am especially sorry about the anxiety attacks as I used to have them also. Gosh they lasted about 1-2 years & I would take any symptom over those attacks. I became frozen in fear, shook & had to take a hot shower to stop the shaking. A few times I was at my sisters house & it hit. I said "Please let me take a hot bath" believe me my sisters thought that was so weird. It would feel like I would just fall over & explode from anxiety. Depression was also with that symptom, sort of felt like I was in the twilight zone or something. No medication or anything to blame it on in my case, Just that rotten word-FEAR!. I pray it all gets better for you, keep us posted ok. Lori
