Not sleeping lately!!!!
Another night going by and guess who isn't asleep!!! I just can't live on 4 hours a night! It's killing me physically and emotionally and mentally! Either the pain and sickness keeps me up, stuff on my mind, being depressed, or because I am such a light sleep noise wakes me or keeps me up and I ca'nt fall back asleep. Tonight I was about asleep till the noise my DAd always makes woke me up, now I won't get to sleep for hours. Plus now the pain is so bad it will keep me up! My Dad is always on his computer in the room next to me up late, and then early in the morning, he is very noisy in there, and quite a rude and inconsiderate person! Won't do no good talking to him about it. Then during the day between stress, things on mind, and noise I can't rest at all either. My fatigue is already bad enough and body already sick enough lately. Blah here I am for like the third time in a few days whining to ya'll. ButI didn't come here just to whine, but to see if anyone has any suggestions at all of how I could get some sleep? Thanks!!! ~Rachel

Hi Raquel, I have to respond to this one as it used to be a problem for me. Take a warm shower or bath & then drink Chamomile Tea (grocery store) it works wonders! Use a few tea bags & let it steep for 10 minutes, add some honey. I agree it is so important to your well being to sleep well. Praying it all gets better for you, Lori maybe others will have some more ideas for you tommorow |

haha, thats ok! Not the first person to spell my name wrong, no biggie! Lol, I would love to get to exercise everyday! But I'm lucky to even get to go on one walk a week! I know I need exercise, but at this point I just can't! My pain has been far too severe, and I'm always completely achy! Plus when your not sleeping you don't have the extra energy to exercise. I just started the progesterone cream this week. Wish me luck! I think I'm doing it right! I'm following how Dr. Lee says to use it from his book. I use it twice a day, morning and evening about a 1/4 tsp. each time. And I have been alternating putting it on the chest, upper inner arm, and neck. Where do you put yours? Does it sound like I'm using it right? I actually don't sleep with a fan, but a air cleaner thing every night to block out noise. But it doesn't block out my Dad being noisy in the next room late at night and early morning. I'm thinking of seeing if I can stand sleeping with air plugs :P I have never thought of taking a bath or shower at night. I usually have no strength whatsoever at night time! But maybe I'll try it sometime when my pain isn't too bad. And the tea thing, I have heard is relaxing to help sleep. In fact I just got some chamomile tea, but I can only use it in the morning and afternoon. See I have IC too, and having extreme frequent urination. I drink one glass of something and I have to go to the bathroom every 5-10 mins. for a hour or two! So I try not to drink after 7 except a little with food and pills. Thanks for the suggestions? Any others feel free to share please!!! |
