Guess What, I am Anemic?
well no wonder I am so tired!!!!. I am a little upset also, as I told my Drs. at Kaiser a million times I thought I was.... I have been waiting 4 months to get my tests back from Kaiser(not a kaiser bash) & they still did not send them to my naturopath dr. so went ahead & did an array of tests & paid out of my pocket. now naturopath drs. do have stricter guidelines or perhaps my medical drs. never had this checked. I do not know. Example: say a normal level is 5-20 & My level would show up as 5, I would still be considered normal. This would not hold true though with naturopathic drs. esecially if you have all the symptoms. Anemic!!!she just called-My naturopath Dr. said a few months of weekly b12 shots & iron of course. Can you imagine how much better I am going to feel? Thanks for listening. Praise God for all the answers!!! Thank You for praying! Lori |

So I'm guessing it's a bad thing your anemic, but a good thing you were finally diagnosed with it and getting treated, right? I wonder what my fatigue problem is. Course lately part of it is the lack of sleep, but even when I do get enough sleep always fatigue! Course lately it's been pretty bad, not sure why, could be the lack of sleep, even though I did have a couple good nights, could be the cream making me more fatigue than usual, or I might have caught a bug from my friend considering I'm all stuffed up so that could be making me extra fatigue. So how do they check for anemia? Blood test? Think I have been checked by regular doctors for it before, but nuttin showed. Hopefully one if these days I'll figure out what's causing it. But hey, maybe it's just the endo and IC causing it, who knows, its all sooo confusing! Good lukc with the treatment Lori! I hope it helps you and you can get feeling better! |

Hi Rachel, I know it is soooo confusing. You see I had many tests done through my medical drs. -many, many years of tests....& considered healthy. Findings through my naturopath that I am being treated for: anemia, adrenal gland fatigue, estrogen dominance & of course the endo. Oh I hope nothing else comes up, but I do figure it is better to know all that you need to fight in order to have all the supplements & more in which to treat it. Endometriosis of course was diagnosed through med. drs. Adrenal gland fatigue-medical drs. do not believe in such a thing-you either have high cortisol or low cortisol & if it is low cortisol like I have & on its way down, but not in the disease level range yet, it is not conclusive. the same with anemia estrogen dominance is not normally found out either. my point is that I truly believe in Naturopathic treatments/testings! gosh I am considered healthy at Kaiser. Rachel, I wish their were some easy answers for you-possibly push more to have more testing done & keep copies of all your records? Keep praying for wisdom on the path to follow... Lori |
