A NEW DAY

HI Girls!

Yesterday was a tough one for me because of the fatigue. I really need to get it all right-for example eat my vegetables everyday, do a little exercise, take all my vitamins...some days it is so hard and I get frustrated. Some days are easy.

I was depressed for a while last night, told my husband-am I ever going to get better?(chronic fatigue)! You know it really needs to be put in perspective as I am sooo much better. Rarely do I have pain or PMS. That is amazing really after 20 years of it. The endo is thankfully under control. Yea!

but somedays I do not see it. My husband asked me last night if I was better than last month-The answer is OH YES! I am out of bed, but I am still tired!
Patience, Patience I must have.

Well anyways I prayed for a good day today-filled with some energy, not a struggling day which so many are for those who can relate to the overwhelming fatigue...

The Lord answered my prayers and I HAVE ENERGY. I have so much work to catch up on, so I had better go. Just wanted to share with you.
Praise God!

Lori

I pray your day is a good one, filled with HOPE.
Melanie

Re: A NEW DAY

Hello, Lori.

You WILL get better. Your body has so much to recover from so it makes sense that you are still tired. I know it can be so hard to be patient, but that's when it helps to simply vent and know that you're being heard and that people care. I have lots of extra energy these days so I'm going to send some to you! :)

On a happier note, how as your anniversary getaway?

LORI, I KNOW FATIGUE IS HARD. AND UNFORTUNATELY DEPRESSION COMES WITH BEING TIRED. BUT I AM GLAD TO HEAR THAT YOUR ENERGY PICKED UP. DO YOU THINK YOUR B12 SHOTS ARE WORKING? I THINK I NEED TO GET MORE. I ONLY GET 2 TO 3 A MONTH. WELL I HOPE YOUR ENERGY CONTINUES TO GET STRONGER.

Re: A NEW DAY

I thank you for the kind thoughts girls!

Nikkie, the B12 shots are working no doubt. Their actually is a dramatic difference. From being in bed a lot! and many times of being so tired, I can barely breath. Now I would just say it is just getting more like fatigue. Everyday is different though. Today is good though-hey 2 days in a row! Yes sometimes do need to vent about it, it makes me feel better, so feel free to listen.

Nikkie, I am taking the shots every other day, but they seem to take about 15 hours to kick in, then last about a day. That is just my body though, as I have been deprived of B12 for quite a while, it seems I am soaking it up like a sponge.
I am going to talk to my Dr. about it. Maybe take them everyday? not sure. She also has to check how my body is absorbing the iron also..

I do know though it is supposed to be a healing process as you said Melanie. Sometimes I just forget that! For instance with the anemia-it takes 60 days for the blood to rejuvenate. The adrenal glands are supposed to take 6-12 months to heal. I would think the B12 would start staying in my system more as time goes on. Even though the endo is under control, it seems I am taming my hormones, as I can feel the slight surge a week before my period and that effects my energy. Also with the hypoglycemia, I need to eat extremelly well or it effects my energy.
Whew!! no wonder! actually I should be a lot worse, a lot of things come into play here!
Seems I need a good soaking in B12, broccoli and Iron.

Melanie the anniversary was great! actually we took the kids because babysitting did not work out so well but you know my husband & I were talking and we had a good 10 years of yearning for children and really it was just great taking them. It worked out wonderfully also because the hotel we were staying at gave us an upgrade for only $30.00 more, so we went from a standard hotel room up to a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 balcony condo-the penthouse room! oh it was incredible. Check out sometime the Seahorse at San Clemente overlooking the ocean. It was awesome. My son and I got up at 6:30 am and went swimming in the ocean-hey that was another energy surge.

Thanks for sending some energy here!!!
Taking advantage of today because it is good!

Praise God,
Lori
