My gyno just put me on seasonal a couple of months ago, and I have gained about 7-10 pounds. My gyno thought that this particular pill would help me continue to stabilize the endo after being asymptomatic. Be for warned... my doctor warned of the potential for breakthrough bleeding and I have been bleeding for a month and a half. Be careful and keep track of any bleeding to talk to your doctor about. Hopefully, you will have better luck, and my prayers are with you. Please let me know if there is anything else, or any questions. |

Hi Gabrielbeth and Katy, Well you know natural progesterone cream is the alternative option to the pill, but I am sure you have heard us talk about that sooo much so I do not want to harp on it. I hear it is very common to gain weight on the pill, I wish I knew of a solution. I found it interesting, was it Pam who said that she started using vitamin C and that helped her bleeding while on the pill? You may want to look that remedy up or ask her. When I was on the pill I lost weight, that is a strange huh. Katy, Welcome here! I love your email address. Lori

Yes! I take 1000mg of vitamin C with the pill when I normally take it, as soon as the bleeding stops though you want to stop...they said your body will get use dto the high does and the bleeding will start again. The vitamin C supposedly absorbs excess estrogen, and it worked for me. I was bleeding for 15 days and it stopped after three doses Give it a try!
