A fun poll?
Hi Gals. I was just thinking the other day how some things have gotten so much easier since I started alternative treatment for endo. One is swallowing pills! I take 10 pills a day (down from 18, but nowhere near Lori's daily regimen of 27!), 5 in the am and 5 in the pm. Three are a little bigger than a standard capsule (like motrin) and the other two are GIANT horse pills. Well I used to gag a bit when I took some pills but now I can take all 5 in one gulp with no problems at all. I don't mean to make this a contest on who takes the most or who can swallow the most pills at once (because that can be dangerous--no swallowing 27 pills at once, Lori), but I was just wondering if there were things that have become easier for any of you as a result of dealing with endo treatment? IT ID FUNNY THAT YO SAY THAT. I USED TO NOT BE ABLE TO SWALLOW PILLS I USE TO HAVE TO PUSH THEM DOWN MY THROAT OR CRUSH. KNOW HEAR I AM SWALLOWING A FEW AT A TIME. I ALSO USED TO BE SKIDDISH OF NEEDLES. KNOW I TAKE THAT LUPRON SHOT AND B12 LIKE NO BIG DEAL.I ALSI HAVE A BETTER ATTITUDE TOWARDS PEOPLE THAT ARE ILL AND THAT MIGHT BE THE ONE GOOD THING OUT OF MY ENDO IS COMPASSION FOR SICK PEOPLE..... |

Hi Melanie, What has become easier? Shots: giving myself shots-hey no problem. Eating: I was not good at eating all day like I am supposed to be(hypoglycemia). I would eat healthy but certainly not like this-almost perfection! Pills: At the last Dr., I was swallowing mud like disgusting herbal tonics  that were horrendous so it is way easier for me with this Dr., to go to pills.Before the programs I would gag like both of you when having to take just 1 vitamin. I can do anything through Christ who gives me strength. Thanks for the question Melanie! Lori |
