Was it all worth it?

Well everything seemed to be going ok since the surgery - UNTIL TODAY! It seems like the problems with the bleeding has not stopped - too me it was pretty bad, no really significant cramps, etc., just the bleed. Has anyone else had problems with bleeding between their periods? It seems to happen consistently about mid cycle and has at times lasted up to 9 days. I have been watching my cycle this month (temping for ovulations, and am not sure that I ovulated, unless that is what happened today - I don't know and I feel so frustrated. the weird thing is that last month before I had the surgery, I had no bleed (for the first time in a long time). If anyone has any kind of experience with this, I would appreciate the help.

cheena,
i used to bleed in between periods or i also would have periods for like 15 days. birth controll pills did help control that. are you on them yet? yasmin is what worked the best for controlling mine. i do not get my period anymore because i am on lupron. the doctor once also did a d & c to stop my bleeding. i would talk to your doctor about some options cause their are things they can try to control it with. i hope you feel better

Re: Was it all worth it?

Hi Cheena,
Besides the reasons what the other girls said, I have read that it could be as simple as a hormonal imbalance. I forget if you said if you had gotten your hormones checked. I also read sometimes it is a vitamin K deficiancy(vitamin K helps with clotting, but one vitamin that you have to be careful with) and other times some have found relief by building up/strengthening the blood vessels, I am not sure but maybe it was with vitamin C? I wish I had saved that article...

I hope you find some relief!
Blessings,
Lori
