update on fibrovan
My daughter started taking Fibrovan around Feb. 13th. She just had a sonogram done last week and the cyst she had on her remaining ovary is gone! It was 2.2 cms. big already and was growing pretty fast. I dont really know if its the Fibrovan or my prayers but its gone, so thats good news for now. She will continue taking it, of course. She was still in a lot of pain during her last period, but much less flow. So we are really happy. Thanks to all for keeping her in your prayers. Will continue to update. yvonne |

Amen to that. I just started taking Fibrovan myself on March 7th. I have 3 large fibroids and multiple others. I ususally terrible pain during ovulation and menstrual cycle. Last month I was off work for 4 days with pain during ovulation. I too am praying for divine intervention for absolute healing. I believe He gave me the direction and the strength to atleast try Fibrovan vs Lupron or Myomectomy. So far ovulation was a breeze. I actually had to look at the calendar to see if 2 weeks had passed already. We'll see how it goes during menstuation. Thank you, Jesus! |

Just found this site. My 28 year old daughter has been suffering with endometriosis and has had 2 surgerys. Today I ordered fibrovan for her and am hopeful that it will give her some relief. She also suffers with interstitial cystitus (lining of bladder is damaged) which seems to be common to those with endometriosis. It is nothing for her to get up 10 to 15 times during the night feeling like she has to urinate. I am hoping for some feedback from others who have tried this medication. It sounds too good to be true; is it? Thanks for your input. |

Hi. i have 4 fibroids with the largest one being 4 cm. i have been on the pill for a while at my doctors request. the pill did very little in helping with the fibroid symptoms. my bleeding started getting heavier and on occasion, i would have breakthrough bleeding with my periods coming on 2 weeks early and staying on for 3 weeks with clots. i was search the website for fibroid info and came accross Fibrovan. i decided to give it a try. i started taking Fibrovan on 1/28/06. so far, i have noticed a decrease in my clots and bleeding. i stopped taking the pill in March to see if i would bleed for 2 or 3 wks and when my period came on, it lasted 3-4 days! there has definitely been a change in my period since taking Fibrovan. and i was skeptical at first because it seemend too good to be true. i go for my pap and ultrasound on 5/15/06. i will know then if my fibroids have shrunk or are gone. i really believe God led me to Fibrovan. |

Dear friends in Christ, I know that the Lord led me to this site because I found the Fibrovan website yesterday. I was going to order and then decided to pray and ask the Lord what He would want me to do...buy it or not. Today, I was doing some searching and came across this website. After reading the testimonials about it actually working, I am going to buy it. I know this is God because you ladies are christians and I know that God is here. I praise God for you and I thank you that you have a website like this. I have had fibroids since 2000. I had a myomectomy in 2001. The fibroids came back. I been on birth control pills since early 2004 and just stopped them last month. I spoke with my doctor recently who said that maybe it's best that I have a hysterectomy. I said "no way" I'm going to believe that God is going to take care of this for me. I know that God is a healer, and He will use anything to bring about it for me. Thanks for listening...I know its long but I am so blessed to have found this site!

I wanted to give my update as well. My cycle was really good. I had some of the cramping and back pain but I only took 1 pill the whole 4 days. The bleeding was basically 1 or 2 spots a day and a dirty consistency equivalent to dried blood ( I hope that's not too decriptive). I just wanted to share my experience. And to express my gratefulness the God. I will continue for another month and keep an eye on my progress. ONE major thing I can testify to is the LACK of SIDE EFFECTS!!!!! Thank you Lord, Jesus!!

I had a myomectomy in 1998 removing several large fibroids, and then in 2002 a small one in the center of my uterus. In February 2006 they diagnosed me with three more - 10cm, 8cm and 5cm and they want to do a hysterectomy. I could FEEL them and my stomach was hard and protruding. I started Fibrovan 25 days ago. I am on my second bottle. My stomach has gone down and I cannot feel the fibroids as I did. I am not having the back pain or the pain where the largest one was pressing on my left ovary every month near ovulation. I am going to take Fibrovan for three full months and get another sonogran and ultrasound. I think it works. Not one side effect. I read the literature and the website thoroughly. I can see my urine is darker, which indicates the fibroids breaking down and being flushed out. That my stomach is flatter, not hard and not protruding is very much evidence. I recall a book by Dr. John Smith ("Women and Doctors") in which he states that he is know doctors do more hysterectomies than necessary because it gets them more money quickly. I refuse to have disposable parts. I am also in prayer and people are sending me prayer and energy. I believe by the end of October 2006 I will not have these fibroids. |

Hello, Just a note here for those who are searching the internet and have come across this post: We are not affiliated with the fibrovan company and no way do we represent them. If anyone has some reason to profit, please come forward and confess. The Lord is watching you and He knows all! Saying that, I am happy to hear of good results. I totally believe in natural products over medicine(sometimes exceptions) as I always have posted about it here. I do believe in fermented vegetables, that they are wonder foods. I have been eating fermented saurek-r-a-u-t and kefir. I hear this is fermented soybeans. It must be powerful to work so quickly, but it scares me a bit... The ingredient is nattokaina? in the fibrovan and is working for heart and stroke patients. I do believe it is working for many now, but I am so unsure about long term as Jill said also.... Please let us know if you have any negative results and positive. I have read that some have had prolonged bleeding with this product. I want to ask my naturopath about this, so will post when I find out more. Keep us informed ok, Lori

Celeste, Yes, please do keep us all updated. I am keeping a simple journal of my Fibrovan experience and I will keep you all posted as I have any new news. I just started my second week on Fibrovan. My stomach is still really puffy. I feel pretty good though. I do sleep really well at night and I have dreams that I can remember clearly in the morning. Not weird though. Keep up the post, a lot of us are reading them.

hi everyone, sorry for the delay. i didn't get the ultrasound for my fibroids until 6/1/06. well, i was informed that the fibroids are still detectable; however, the 4cm fibroid has shrunk to 3cm! my doctor looked confused but she didn't ask any questions or even tell me it shrunk. i knew the last year they told me it was 4 cm. she just said "well they aren't growing and they're relatively small". i didn't tell her about fibrovan. i ran out of fibrovan and have been off it for about a month. i wanted to see if there was any shrinkage before i reordered. well i am going to reorder. i also still have shorter periods and i've been off the fibrovan for a month. the thing with my period is the first day is real heavy, but after that, it's basically nothing. i will continue to keep you all posted. |

Hi Erica, Thanks for the update. I'm so blessed to hear that the fibroid has shrunk! Praise the Lord! I received my fibrovan on May 29 and began to take them right away. This I started after my period ended about the 27th of May. It's been three weeks now and even though I don't have any results of my period, I can say that there are NO side effects whatsoever. The only thing I did notice is that at night I get more sleepy than I did before I started taking it and also I notice that I'm sleeping more soundly and having vivid dreams than before. I know its the fibrovan because I didn't experience anything like this until I started taking it. I will post again when my period is over to let you all know what I experience. Blessings. Jacqui |

Hello all, Well, here is my update on taking Fibrovan for the first time. As I stated before, I started taking it on May 29th. I took 2 caps twice a day (4 daily). On June 17th, I had a heavy discharge, which I've never had before. It only happened the one time, but it was significant enough for me to notice something different. It was as if something burst! My period came on the Monday, June 19th. I was expecting it to come on June 23rd, but it came early and I didn't even know it was coming. No warning at all. Ok, so the heaviness of my period was literally cut in half. The clots were alot smaller and my period was more watery (the only way I can explain it.) The cramps that I had were minimal, so I didn't have to take any pain medication this period which was a blessing for me because I always have to take pain medication for cramps, always. My period ended on Friday, June 23rd, with maybe a spot or two on Saturday, but that was it. I didn't go through pads like I had to do for so many years. This time, I was able to sleep better at night without getting up at all hours to change (sometimes, I used to get up every hour to change) I have to say that Fibrovan is working for me. I see a difference and so does my husband. I will continue to take it for the next two months (they tell you that you will see the most results after 3 months) and then I'll let you all know what I experienced. So far, so good....praise the Lord!

Hi All, I stumbled across your website a few days ago and I am so glad I did. I have been battling fibroids for almost 15 years now. I am looking for options out of a hysterectomy and came across Fibrovan. I am glad to hear that many of you have had a positive experience with this. Lori, what else did you find out? I have researched the main ingredient Nattokinse for warnings and such and haven't seen much negative at all. I am scheduled for surgery the first week in August so I am kind of running out of time to try. If I was sure it would work I'd cancel the surgery but I wouldn't be able to reschedule until December. I'm just so tired of fighting with this. Anyway Thanks girls for all of the post so far because they have been a blessing to me. Praying for wisdom now. God is good! |

I have fibroids, (I look like I am three months pregnant), I was severly anemic, my periods are heavy and extremely painful. My husband and I would like to try to get pregnant but I think the fibroids aren't allowing me to, plus you know I'm 41, my clock is tick tocking. I have three grown daughters but my husband and I don't have any children together. So I read about Fibrovan, stumbled on this website and as soon as I finish I am ordering my supply. I was so happy to hear that although other women are suffering as I have, you have found relief!!!! I will come back and let ya'll know how it goes for me. My next doctors appointment is October. She wants me to have a few cycles and see if I can get pregnant. Surgery isn't an option yet because of the anemia. I did have a D&C because I had bleeding for a few months straight. So, my prayers are with everyone here!!!!

Hi My daughter is scheduled for a sonogram next Tuesday, so I will let you all know the results then. Hopefully, the cyst will continue to be gone from her left and only remaining ovary. She has been taking Fibrovan for 3 1/2 months and its been great! Less, much less pain and lighter flow with her period. Yvonne |

I am a 47 year old who was diagnosed with endometriosis in 1997 and underwent laproscope that same year. Since then, the endo has come back in a major way. Last year, I was diagnosed with multiple fibroids, one being very large, and the others ranging from medium to small. The pain of my periods has been getting worse and worse with each month. There are many days I cannot walk upright, the bleeding is heavy and clotted. I look like I am 8 months pregnant because of the fibroids and I have pain in my hip and back, and have many gastrointestinal complaints from bloating to constipation to cramps. I feel like I have to urinate all the time. I feel like I am carrying a bowling ball in my belly all the time. I am a mess. The docs just want to do laproscope and a hysterectomy, and if they save my ovaries, they want to induce clincal menopause. I hope there is a better way. All of that sounds so drastic. I received my first shipment of Fibrovan today. I took the first two pills two hours ago. It's coincidental that I started my period today as well (two days late) and it was so painful that I couldn't stand upright for the first hour after I got out of bed this morning. Walking today has been slow baby steps like I am an invalid. I promise to keep you updated on my personal success or failure with this product. I am anxious to know the results as there isn't much info available about this product or it's ingredients. Hopefully, my experience will help the next person who is desperately looking for answers. Sisters in Christ. God Bless you All. |

Hi, I just had an ultasound on Friday, and found out that now I have fibroids, as if battling endo since I was 13 isn't enough. I just barely recovered from the effects of radiation, after a thyroid storm 7 yrs ago. I have just recieved a (your in the normal range)thyroid(T-3 TSH stuff). I had 2 Laparoscopies 10yrs ago, 2 weeks apart due to a 10cm and 8cm cysts. Also to clean up endo. I have had one child, now 16 and have lost 4. I was going in to have a look around before trying to have more children. Dr's believe that the between my thyroid and high clotting factor, I lost the last ones. I was so excited before the results, and now just sad , mad ,hurt and now hopeful. My Dr is a fertility specialist, so I trust him, ( and family friend). He told me he would put me on some anti-coagulants for a couple of months to lower my platelets, and then do surgery (scope) to remove and laser, which he said could cause scaring, and worsen my odds of conceiving. I'm sorry I'm carring on like this, but I was so glad to find your site . I'm usually so private about all this . I just don't think my husband could handle anymore. I really need women I can relate to. I have been all over the web searching and reading anything that might shed some light on the subject and what I can do. Thank-you for being here, Like you I believe What God Made, He Can Fix. My Faith lead me here, I was reading my scriptures, and praying for answers. I read all the emails posted, and feel kindred spirits connecting. I feel that after reading the info on their site, and your results, that Fibrovan could be for me. I'm ordering today. I'll keep you posted |

Jeana, I also have found this website to be very encouraging. Some of us here are just starting our Fibrovan experiment. I did alot of praying before trying it and I would recomend everyone do the same. Also you need to read up on the ingredients in Fibrovan. The main ingredient is Nattokinase. You can do a google search on it and find a lot of information. Omega 3 can also help greatly with the clotting. I took it for 3 months before I saw results but then I saw great results. The omega 3 I took is called Coromega and it was the only one with fish oil that I could tolerate. God Bless! Keep us posted.

BEGINNING 2ND FULL DAY - Just wanted to post and document what I experienced in the 24 hours after taking my first dose of Fibrovan (in case the curious want to know). Apologies for graphic description following. The overall "pressure" seems to be a tiny bit less, although I did feel bloated (gassy). There is definately a more pungent odor and my urine is darker than normal. Not quite diaherria, but movement is looser and seems a little oily. I had a difficult to describe headache last night when I went to bed. It was "in there" some where and it seemed more like a memory of a headache than an actual headache. Does that make sense? I took some Aleve and didn't wake up with it this morning. Those who suffer from endo/fibroids will understand when I say that it is difficult to tell what symptoms the Fibrovan might be causing. The bloat might or might not be caused by the Fibrovan, because intermittant bloat is a problem with our condition. Research on the active ingredients in this product indicates that both bloat and headache may be a sign that your body is starting to break down and eliminate fibrin (which is material your body uses to produce clots and fibroids. So we'll wait and see what the improvements will be. I'll keep posting when I experience something new. Keeping you all in my prayers. |

Thanks for all your updated girls. Someone asked, I think Beth? what else that I found out. I have been praying about this for quite a long time..I have no conclusions really on my own except the good results from all of you. I did hear one bad result so far on here that she had major clots come out. I read this all over the place: Do not use if you have a blood coagulation disorder. Consult your healthcare professional before taking this product if you are taking any drug that affects blood coagulation, such as, prescription vitamin K, heparin or warfarin (coumadin), or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Jill and I see the same naturopath. Our naturopath did not suggest it for endo, because she mentioned it could promote bleeding. No of course our naturopath does not know everything, but has to be put into consideration. After I heard this, I went to my naturopath for some insulin resistance testing and looked for the nattokanainse on the shelves. They had it and I asked about it and they said it was helping heart and stroke patients. I was inclined to ask about the food(what the main ingredient in fibrovan is derived from), so I asked the secretary. She said that she eats Natto daily. Wow now that was weird to me, but then I thought that perhaps the Lord was leading me in that direction. It has been a few months ago that this happened and I did nothing as I want to be sure. I keep reading your posts! Well I asked the Lord again yesterday and went to the health food store and it was a definate NO for me to buy the nattokanaise. No Doubt the answer was no, but I then prayed about the food more. Long story huh....well bottom line is that yesterday I easily found a japanese store near me that sells the NATTO-THE FOOD and tons of it, many different brands and it is very cheap. I could not read the labels as they were in japanese and this lady was passing by in her cart with the stuff in her cart. I was happy that she spoke english and she proceeded to tell me that it was for her parents. Her parents came over then to me and started telling me how they ate it daily and it was very good for them. I noticed how healthy they looked. They must have been 80 or so and walking around no problem. This was my confirmation! Now just because I have a confirmation, does not things will turn out wonderfully, just that I am led to eat this Natto right now(read the about prayer page). IT IS HORRIBLE - BEYOND DISGUSTING. Ha Ha the Lord has sent me on this route before. I am not sure I can eat it. I tried honey yesterday and got it down. Today salsa with it and only got half down. Tommorow I will try barbecue sauce. My questions: What is the comparison to the food( 50 grams per serving) to the pill? How much enzyme is contained. I read the studies that when eating the food they ate 200 grams with results. I am comfortable with less. I did have a headache yesterday and tired. I also had a tiny bit of loose stools and could feel the presence of my endo. I am going to remain on the progesterone cream. What I suspect with me. I HAVE TONS OF ENDO. It is just suppressed with the cream is all and no pain, but I can tell that it is all over the place as when the cream is stopped, then horror! Can anyone answer this? What is the comparison to the food( 50 grams per serving) to the pill? How much enzyme is contained. Many prayers, Lori

Thanks Lori for the information! It is so super to have all of this feedback. I really loved all of your info about Natto. I have been on the Fibrovan for about a week. I took 2 X 2 pills everyday execpt the first day ( only took 1 X 2 the first day to make sure I could tollerate the ingredients) I had to back off today from the 2 pills dose. I felt like my stomach was really bloated like water retention. I have read that this can happen as the fluids move in to carry off the waste products. Anyway I felt like maybe I needed to slow down a little bit. I feel much better today. I didn't feel BAD just more abdominal swelling and kind of an ache like Lori said a "presence of my endo" or fibroids or whatever. That's why I backed off. Just an extra note to that of you taking Fibrovan or Nattokinnase. Any pain meds you take like Aleve, Advil, or anything with Naproxin Sodium or Ibruprofin also can thin you blood. Tylenol might be a safer bet. The Nattokinase is suppose to thin your blood in a safe way while protecting your normal platlet function. I say "suppose to" because this is all new to all of us. So all that just to say be careful what other meds you mix it with. I even backed down my omega supplement somewhat while taking the Fibrovan. Just taking it a few times a week. Just to be safer and to make sure that I knew how I would feel while taking the Fibrovan first before adding anything else. It does seem to take at least a week before you feel the full effects that it is doing something. Keep us posted all you other guinea pigs.

Hi All, I've been on Fibrovan for 6 weeks now (about to have my second period this weekend) and I have to say that I haven't felt this good in a longgggggggggggg time. My stomach has decreased in size from last month considerably and my bowel movements have increased to twice a day. I know its the Fibrovan because that's all I'm taking, besides my regular vitamins and iron. I'm also not having PMS symptoms at all. I had it really bad last month. I'm excited to see how this period will be. I will continue to let you all know with updates on my progress. By the way, I'm still taking 2 pills twice a day. To God be the Glory...Hallelujah! Blessings.... Jacqui

I saw Lori's post on Natto and I wanted to share my favorite recipe. I too, saw that nattokanainse was in Natto and decided to add Natto to my diet ~6 mo ago. I got a rice steamer from Bed Bath and Beyond for about ~$6, it was on sale, and some cal rose white rice. The Hawaiian sea salt (large grain) was also at the Japanese store. And Tarro or Taro, it's next to the soy sauce also at the Japanese store. Chop ~1/2 cup raw green cabbage and place on plate or bowl Add ~1 cup steamed rice on top Add ~ 1/2 package Natto on top (mixed with the mustard in the package, tarro, and/or rice vinegar) Add a sprinkle of Hawaiian sea salt Optional: a couple of cloves of finely chopped raw garlic Add a few spoons of curry or some sautéed chicken, veg, tofu, something from take-out Chinese or the Deli isle at Fred Meyer. Anything you would normally mix with rice. Mix together with a fork and enjoy. This is my favorite food and I will have it a 2-3 times a week. And while I feel much better after eating it, I am thinking about ordering the Fibrovan. Maybe I don't eat enough to really help dissolve my fibroids. But I love this food and I'm so glad to have it. It tastes great and I really think it's helped my digestion and over-all health. --Melinda |

One more thing. I did call my doctor and informed him that I will be taking Fibrovan, because I am on blood pressure medicine. He said to monitor my blood pressure and if it got to low to stop taking the Fibrovan. Also, he did seem perplexed when I informed him what it was for. He stated that has never heard of something shrinking fibriods, but he also stated that he isn't aware of Nattokinase. I will see what happens though. Has anyone been using this for 6months or more? |

4th DAY ON FIBROVAN Still taking 2 x 2. My period is now over (I started on my first day). Nothing much new to note except that my period seemed to stop more suddenly than it has been. It usually tapers off over a few days, but this time, when it was done, it was done. The flow seemed to be more "even" and not as heavy, no clots and the color was more like new blood. The pain? That seemed to ease a little bit on the 2nd day of my cycle, but that is not unusual. I usually get severe pain mid-cyle and right before my period. By the next round, I will have been on Fibrovan for 30-days. We will wait and see what happens. Stools seem darker are are not as loose as the 2nd day, and urine has lightened some and is only strong sometimes. Isn't this gross? To be talking to graphically descriptive about personal habits? But these are the things we want to know about, so if you don't mind, I don't mind.

Ha Ha. I am noticing pinches of pain occasionally on my ovaries. Not real pain, just as I explained - the prescence of endo. That is a bit unusual for me, as I remain pain free now... perhaps things are moving around and clearing out. I have done some research on the Natto food and many health benefits to prevent osteoporosis and some other things that are not in the enzyme nattokanaise but are in the food like vitamin K2. I wish I had an answer to what the equivelant to the food versus the pill? I emailed a few people but no answers. Lord is this a miracle for many??? Please I ask in Jesus name to know if this is good for long term treatments. I know short term it is helping many, but waiting 6 months - 1 year just seems way too long to wait for an answer as there are so many women using it. We really need to know Lord and quickly. Somehow Father, please give more direction to long term treatment.

That's funny. Look at the times. We should be in the chat room we are all on the computer at the same time. My kid's nap time.

Lori, I believe God has the answer and its already here. We shall be patient and wait upon the Lord. This morning, the Lord gave me this scripture in Psalms 4: 3-4 "But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him. Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. That really ministered to me and I hope it will minister to all who are waiting patiently for their healing. Satan is a liar...but, Jesus is LORD!!! |

Hi Lori, Regarding how much nattokinase in in natto. I became curious about this also and searched to find this information: Commercially available natto contains only 20 to 40 FU of nattokinase per gram. A typical package contains 2 to 4 containers , each of 40 to 50 g. One fibrovan cap has 100 mg/ 2,000 FU of nattokinase. 20 * 40 = 800 40 * 50 = 2,000 So at the most one package of natto is equal to the of nattokinase in one fibrovan cap. This information was difficult to find, but it seems about right to me. --Melinda |
