Specific survey on Fibrovan!

Hello girls again!
Here is my own individual survey on fibrovan. Now, some of these questions may or may not seem specific to the taking of the stuff. Please trust me ok as to the reasons for my questions. Please very briefly answer the question and please be VERY HONEST. Just copy and paste the questions only and fill in ok: Thank you so much! I think this will help me and others.

How old are you?
How long have you been taking it?
Are you treating fibroids or endometriosis or both?
How specifically did you find this post/thread?
Where did you 1st hear about fibrovan?
**What conclusion led you to trying it?

**(For instance did you gather info on your own intellegiance. Excuse my spelling. Was it through prayer? Please be very specific! From an advertisement in a magazine-what magazine? If it was through praying, what faith are you and what were you praying? Is Jesus your Savior? Are you searching in faith? Or was faith not even an issue that was relevant here?

What effects briefly have you had from the fibrovan. Good effects?
Bad effects?

Did the fibrovan site answer your questions or reply back to you by email?( I personally never got a reply to my emails to them, that is why I ask)

Have you considered eating Natto instead or purchasing the Nattokanaise on it's own? Why or why not?

How long do you plan on trying the fibrovan? What would make you continue taking it?

Thank you so much for your help and many prayers and blessings hoped for all of you!

Lori Gets Paid from Fibrovan to run this site

I have been taking it, and I'm not sure of the results yet; I've called the company several times, but no answer; I also emailed them and got no answer.

I heard something on the radio about this site being investigated by the FDA--is this true? There has been talk about surreptitious collection of information from the public for the purposes of research for another company without going through the proper channels for conducting study for Fibrovan. Is this site being investigated? Do you post all comments about Fibrovan, becuase I find it interesting that there are no negative comments on this site, but ther are negative comments on other sites about this product?

Do you work for them? Please let me know. I am going to my doctor next week and will find out if the fibrovan have had any effect on my surgery.

Re: Specific survey on Fibrovan!

Lori,

I'm more than happy to post my responses to your specific survey on Fibrovan, especially if it means putting to rest any suspicions that some may have about your promoting the product for your own gain. I'm so grateful for your site because when I was looking to educate myself about fibroids, I stumbled across this place of support. It just so happened that other women had heard of the Fibrovan product as well. Your site provided a forum where we could discuss our specific concerns and ponder whether or not Fibrovan was something we wanted to try. I took the plunge on my own, after much self-education, via the internet and prayer. Since I have found positive benefits from the product, I'm glad that I've been able to offer input to those who also struggle with the daily pain of fibroids and endo. I'm just a believer who wants to help my fellow sisters in Christ with this problem, and I thank God this site exists. Keep the faith, Lori. Don't let anyone make you feel you've done anything wrong by giving us a place to support and share with one another. Here are my responses to the survery.

Alice

Q:How old are you? 38

Q:How long have you been taking it? Since 5/10/06

Q:Are you treating fibroids or endometriosis or both? Fibroid

Q:How specifically did you find this post/thread? I Googled "Fibroids," and I was led to this site as one of many options.

Q:Where did you 1st hear about fibrovan? I first learned of Fibrovan at the Fibrovan website after I Googled "alternative fibroid treatment."

Q:What conclusion led you to trying it? Since it is a natural treatment, fermented soybeans (Nattokanese), and I read about the positive effects that Natto seemed to have in other health areas (Cardio health), I decided to give it a try. Considering the pain and long bleeding cycles I has having, I figured I had nothing to lose. Additionally, I have always been a beliver in natural medicine. Don't get me wrong, I go to the doctor for a physical every year; however, I also believe that the Western medicine we were all raised on could learn a great deal by exploring natural remedies embraced by Eastern cultures for centuries. That's one of the things that interested me about Fibrovan. It's main ingredient (Natto) is not new to the Japanese by any means. It's been found to have medicinal qualities forever! Lastly, but by far not least, I am a born again believer in Jesus Christ the one true Lord, and when I stumbled across this site, I felt the Lord was leading me and giving me the courage to step out with my sisters in Christ to try this natural remedy. I do believe He has blessed us with great minds, and our physical health depends on our own education. We are not to merely surrender ourselves to physicians without taking the responsibility for our own health. This site helped me to make my decision to try the product.

Q:What effects briefly have you had from the fibrovan. Good effects? Prior to Fibrovan my cycle was 11 days long with severe cramps. I am a high school teacher, and the last week of school (finals, graduation ceremonies, etc.) was just awful for me. I was taking ibuprofen and Tylenol every 3 1/2 -4 hours just to get by. My last two cycles have been 4 1/2- 5 days. The pain has lessened, and I've only had to take pain relievers on day #1 of my cycle. As I approach cycle #3 on the product, I'm looking forward to more positive results. One of the greatest benifits: I'm not thinking about my period ALL THE TIME! You know how it is -loading up you purse with supplies, popping pain relievers, and wondering if you can do this or that activity because you're bleeding. That, in and of itself, has been great.
Bad effects? The only side effect I've had at all is increased belly bloat. My first few weeks on Fibrovan I felt like I was carrying around a small watermelon. (I'm not a small girl to begin with!) The website for Fibrovan states that some women (about 10%) experience a firmness of the abdomen. I guess I'm in this category. Now the belly has gone down somewhat, but it's still not what it was prior to treatment. With cycle #3 approaching, I'm hoping to see even more improvement. (The website does state that belly bloat is the last symptom to dissapear with Fibrovan treatment.)

Q:Did the fibrovan site answer your questions or reply back to you by email? I have been dissappointed here. I, too, emailed them my first few weeks to ask about the belly bloat. No response. I do recall, however, that someone stated calling them directly was much more effective. I never tried to call.

Q: Have you considered eating Natto instead or purchasing the Nattokanaise on its own? Why or why not? I have considered taking the Natto on my own, but the Fibrovan "package" is so easy. Also, I don't want to interfere with the results of my so-called "Fibrovan experiment" right now. Perhaps when I reach the maintance stage, in an effort to decrease cost, I'll try it; but for now I've decided to stay the course so I can get some "stats" on Fibrovan for myself and for my sisters who all need some answers.

Q:How long do you plan on trying the fibrovan? What would make you continue taking it? When I set out on my experiment, I decided I was going to do it for the full 3-month cycle recommened by the Fibrovan website (as long as I had no major side effects and felt it was working). Because my cycle has improved and because my belly bloat has been a minimal side effect, I've stayed the course. If my 3rd cycle is even better than #1 and #2, I plan on going to the maintance dose of Fibrovan.

Personal Note: I had an ultra sound on 6/8/06, one month into my Fibrovan therapy. I will get my results on 7/26/06 from my ob/gyn. I want to see how they compare to my ultra sound from 2004 when I was first diagnosed. At that time, I'm going to share with my doctor that I've been taking Fibrovan. If I continue to feel good and my cycle continues to improve, I'm going to ask my doctor if I can return in 6 months for another ultra sound and compare the data. Now I realize that my doctor may think the whole Natto treatment is crazy, but, hey, the proof is in the pudding! I'm in no hurry to go under the knife if I can avoid it. Pray for me, sisters, that I'll continue to have positive results. May the Lord Jesus lead us all to good health in Him!

How specifically did you find this post/thread? I was at my last straw and couldn't take anymore bleeding. I begin to talk to the Lord, from my heart about it. He gave me Peace. I decided to go online and was just going to different sites, etc. I googled 'fibroids' and I saw this site. I came on because I realized that there were christian women who were dealing with the same issues that I was having. After reading about Fibrovan, I went onto the website and read everything. I still wasn't convinced. After 2 months, I spoke to my husband about it and we prayed. About 2 weeks later, he said to me that the Lord released us to get the Fibrovan. I ordered it right away and here I am.
Where did you 1st hear about fibrovan? On this site.
**What conclusion led you to trying it? After prayer. I am a born again Christian, non-denominational full gospel. Yes, Jesus is my Lord and Savior. Faith has to be an issue in everything.

Well, I've been on it for some 7 weeks now, and as I typing this, I'm on my 2nd period cycle (today is the first day). I have to say that it's been a blessing. I'm not bleeding much at all, where always on the first day it would start off heavy and by the this time of the day (3:30pm) I would have to begin leaving work because I would be afraid that I would mess myself up. I usually would bleed at least 11-14 days out of the month..not all heavy days, but a flow where I would have to wear a pad. The past month, my husband noticed that its been a long time since I had my period and if he noticed it, you know something is taking place. I've also had great bowel movements, where I was constipated before because of the amount of Iron I had to take. Now, no problems at all. The other thing I noticed is that after I take Fibrovan at night, I sleep like a little baby...it's been wonderful!
Bad effects? Only bloating the first 2 weeks on Fibrovan...almost like my stomach grew overnight or something...that was strange, but I knew that it would probably happen because it said that it might on the website, so I expected it. It did go away however, so I was happy about that.

Did the fibrovan site answer your questions or reply back to you by email?( I personally never got a reply to my emails to them, that is why I ask) I never sent an email...I just called directly and they answered my questions...no problem. They were very nice and with my first order, I received a note from the owner of the company and a $5.00 coupon off my next order of Fibrovan.

Have you considered eating Natto instead or purchasing the Nattokanaise on it's own? Why or why not? Well, I hear that some of you are eating it...I haven't thought about eating it though...I guess I'll wait to see how the Fibrovan will work before I even think about eating Natto...I'm sure its an aquired taste!

How long do you plan on trying the fibrovan? What would make you continue taking it? I plan on taking fibrovan as along as it continues to give me the results that I see. I do see results.

Re: Specific survey on Fibrovan!

Hey Lori,
Is there a way to move this up on the message board so more people can see it? Or maybe I just did that by making a post.I think this information is so helpful. How has the Natto eating going for you? I may try some eventually. This is my 3rd month on Fibrovan and I am feeling wonderful! My stomach is shrinking a little bit everyday. I think that one of the best effect of this has been my sleeping better. I really sleep like a little kid. Sometimes, like this morning, I wake up in the same posistion that I fell asleep in and my hands or arms are asleep. Oww. I was so asleep that I did not notice.

Re: Specific survey on Fibrovan!

So wonderful. Praise God!!! I want to update the "your stories" page on the website and add all your stories here if you do not mind??

Eating Natto? Well I do occasionally now, because I believe it does me some good, but no longer everyday. It is quite yucky and I do not feel led to eat it all the time now. I have cut down quite a bit on all my vitamins and cut so many things out and still feel Well. Thank you Lord! I am concentrating on my insulin resistance as I still cannot lose even one pound after intensive exercise and a great diet...I am also fighting against candida possibly coming back as far as loading up on garlic again. So my endo is not a problem, unless I stop my cream that is & then tragedy!!! It seems as if I need to always work on one or 2 things at a time and swith back and forth(weird huh?) so I may go back to eating Natto more soon. Thanks for asking Beth and God Bless You!

Just bring the post up whenever you would like and soon, you can refer people to the "your stories' page.

Re: back and hip pain Fibrovan on order!

Hi Ladies,

I apologize for not posting results yet, but my Fibrovan is in the mail...

Did/do any of you have chronic low back or hip pain associated with your fibroids??

I have been 10 mos. to my general doctor and chiro until I discovered how much WORSE all symptoms were one week before my period and during. I thought there must be a connection.

Low and behold, here I am today. I, too, have been praying for a solution to the pain that is robbing me of my 30's.

Please keep your posts coming, it gives me hope!!

In His love,
Steph

Re: Specific survey on Fibrovan!

Ok, I can't answer any of this survey, but have a question about this product. I wonder if it is safe and if I should take it for my fibroids? Some of you have good stories, but I haven't bought the product yet, and want to know if I should, I have numerous small fibroids and one on the back of my utures on a stalk. So, to me I think I should get this product but if someone thinks I shouldn't let me know, cause other then this I may have to under go some surgery. I have my doc apt. on July 21st. Ok, e-mail me with your thoughts! God bless all!
