DAILY BIBLE READING-starting July 1st, 2007 or sooner.
Are you hearing from God? He speaks to us very strongly through his word! Even if you are hearing from Him, it is easier to have accountability with each other to commit to doing this. WHO WANT'S TO JOIN UP IN BIBLE READING? STARTING JULY 1ST - MID YEAR BIBLE READING. We will be starting in the middle of the Bible, but that is ok. It is New Testament reading and Old Testament reading for the day + a Psalm and a few Proverbs. There is also a devotional and a small prayer for the day. It is about 1/2 hour of reading a day and is seperated by the date. Please purchase these books to pray and read along at your home as it is laid out easily for you in the books below. You do not have to purchase the one year bible. It is just easier this way as the daily reading is in all one place. Here are the links to purchase the books: ONE YEAR BIBLE -tyndale New Living Translation http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/1414302053/ref=s9_asin_image_1/102-1618477-6405717?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=1KEPKPWR0AW721S9KYA9&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=278240701&pf_rd_i=507846 PRAYING THROUGH THE BIBLE-Cheri Fuller http://www.amazon.com/Year-Book-Praying-through-Bible/dp/0842361782/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-1618477-6405717?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1179966738&sr=8 -1 BUY THEM NEW OR USED THROUGH AMAZON OR YOUR LOCAL CHRISTIAN BOOK STORE. If you cannot afford it, write to me theendoclub@roadrunner.com and I will send it to you as God provides. It will be sent from amazon.com SIGN UP HERE TODAY! We will then have a post/thread of Bible reading and anyone can comment on their reading for the day as we go along, but it does not have to be everyday or everyweek or anything. Just post when you feel led by the Lord! I cannot commit to how often I will be posting about it, but I WILL COMMIT to do my Bible reading with you and praying for you! Rules: 1)Read the forum rules -please read them before you post. 2)Girls only can post here. 3) Non denominational talk only-no challenges. 4) Lift up your sisters in prayer here! Phl 1:3-6 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; SIGN UP HERE TODAY and I will put in another post soon. If you get your Bible schedule early, just start as I already started. Love to you girls, Lori

oops I forgot this- Oh it is also available as an "e" book. http://www.ebookmall.com/ebook/79668-ebook.htm There is always the option again of buying this devotion book only and using your bible to look up the verses for the day - or just do the devotion, short prayer and the verse for the day in this praying through the Bible book! That would take about 10 minutes per day.

Lori, Don't know if it's similiar, but I've been doing a read through the bible thing from www.mastersline.com. It's a booklet I picked up at my mom's church right before the new year. You end up reading through the old testament once, the new testament twice, Psalms twice, and Proverbs 12x (once a month. So, for example, here is my reading for this morning-- 2Samuel 10,11 Ps. 119:1-16 Prov 24 Acts 28 Is this the same as what you'll be reading? Sheila |

If you write to me, include your name, address and phone #, so that amazon has your information when shipping. Hello Sheila. The study is a bit differnet, but you are certainly welcome to join us. The reading for the 24th was 2 samuel 4:1-6:23,John 13-14, psalm 119 17-32 & Proverbs 15:31-32. Hey that calendar way to do it looks great! IMPORTANT! - If this is your 1st time reading the Bible, the Old Testament may be too overwhelming for you. You may want to leave that till we start on a new book of the Bible or do the New Testament for now, the devotion, psalm and proverbs for the day. Do whatever is good for you and your walk with the Lord in order to spend time with Him daily! Lori

Hebrews 4:12-16 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
