Jesus Power-the great I AM!
Hello Girls! As I have said before, I suffered a lot-emotionally, physically and mentally most of my life. Bad self esteem, feeling unloved, mixed up in the world and wondering what the point of all of it was. Have you felt that way? About 7 years ago, the Lord healed me of it as I put my faith and trust in Him for my life after reading His word. I still suffer physically, but far less than before. Emotionally and spiritually I am healed though. The word of God-the Bible is where all the answers lay for the help that we all need. Jesus Power-the great I AM!! In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1 The scripture above speaks of God being the creator, but Jesus was in the beginning also. Did you know this? You see if we do not believe that Jesus is God, then there is no power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is power though! Please believe and think about this! Jesus is God and can help all of us if we trust Him and believe in what he did for us on the cross! IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. John 1:1-3 Jesus is God in the flesh! "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." John 1:14 Also Jesus used the Jehovistic "I AM," identifying Himself as God. Jesus Christ claimed to be the “I AM.” It is the personal name of the God of the Old Testament. On several occasions it is recorded that Jesus used the “I AM” formula in attesting to His deity. He claimed to be the LORD God, Jehovah, Yahweh. Then Moses said to God, "Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they say to me, 'What is His name?' what shall I say to them?" And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'" Exodus 3:13-14 The “I am” scriptures are my favorite. Think about how they can help you today with your suffering!!! And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. John 6:35 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. John 10:9 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. John 10:11 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. John 12:46 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. John 15:1 Almighty God, maker of heaven and earth. We come to you for help Lord! Please help us with our needs. Speak to us Lord and show us how to live our lives for your glory. Show us what to do about our health problems. Help us to rest in you. Ease our physically pain and bring us hope in all of our days. Show us how mighty that you are, how you answer prayers and do much more than is imaginable and much more than what we ask. We ask all according to your will for our lives as we trust in you. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen. Have you come to know Jesus? Do you know of the power of the cross?? If not, please click here!!!!! http://www.theendoclub.com/donotread.htm Lori

Jesus Power-the great I AM!! part 2 How is the Lord speaking to you today? Please share with us. Jesus is God in the flesh! God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM' has sent me to you. " (Exodus 3:14) "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid Himself, slipping away from the temple grounds. (John 8:58) What do the “I am” scriptures mean to you personally in your life, especially amongst chronic illness? I just found my Bible study I had done on this a few years ago so I want to share as I said before they are my favorite scriptures. Please share your thoughts about how these scriptures or one of the scriptures has changed your life or how they just became NEW to you today! And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. John 6:35 ~Jesus satisfies my soul!! He is the one who is always there for me. No one else in the world can I say this about in perfection like this. No man or woman in this world can be everything to me. Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." John 8:12 ~I do not have to live in guilt. God has made me new through Jesus. He has restored my life and shown me the light that is in Him. All has changed in my life. He makes things new! "I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. John 10:9 ~I found Jesus. I am saved by his blood. I have entered his gate/door-his world. I found the pasture of peace that is not in this world, but in Him. "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. John 10:11 ~ Jesus layed down his life for me. I am thankful! Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. John 11:25 ~I do not need to fear death as I did in the past. I am not afraid. Eternal life will be wonderful with Him. Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6 ~Jesus is the way and the only way to God. All other attempts are futile. I tried them.. I can go directly to the father through Jesus. I am thankful for the night that I found the truth and the truth is Jesus(this is the night I read the book of John while I was mentally and physically suffering-4th book of the New Testament) "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. "Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:1-5 ~ I am glad that Jesus is the vine. I remain in Him and He remains in me. He loves me too much to keep me like I was. He disciplined me and pruned me. It was painful, but was needed! Halleluiah!! Let us pray again for all the girls in the prayer club and here. Heavenly Father, please again show us how you are the great I AM. Speak to any girls who do not believe in you today. Help them with their health and their lives. Please bring emotional, physical and spiritual healing to all of us. In Jesus name, amen.

Lori, "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. John 15:1-5 This one spoke to me today. I am getting ready to prune my roses and crepe myrtles this weekend. I was just thinking how it's just the same as when the Lord helps to prune us so that we can bear more beautiful fruit -- love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, etc., as when we prune our roses so that they'll provide gorgeous and full blossoms to enjoy! I can't wait till spring!!! -Sheila |

That is a great analogy Sheila with pruning your roses. They must turn out beautiful as you, Lori
