I'm feeling so bad
Please pray for me as I'm still having horrible stomach problems. I have had a colonoscopy, endoscopy, and other tests not even a yr ago and they came back fine. My doc said I had ibs. Since January I have had major stomach probs and in the last 2 to 3 wks I have had a lot of pain and nausea. I fear that there may be something more going on. I'm going to have to go see my dr today as I am in so much pain all I want to do is curl up in a ball. Thank you all for your prayers Melissa |

Hello! So sorry dear. I am praying to the Lord to heal you of this. Have you read Netties post on IBS? There are some things that have helped her I think she said. Are you on probiotics? What are your symptoms-maybe we can help more with the Lord's help. Lori

Boy you sound just like me:) I have been there hun to the tee. Make sure you trust your doctor and feel comfortable telilng them everything. It makes a difference. I see a GI specialist which is good. Yes the scopes from both ends are not fun and then to have them tell you everything is fine when your not makes things worse. Trust me there is light at the end of tunnel. You have to be strong for you and you only! only you know how you feel and those you choose to share your problems with dont give you the respect and patients your looking for them they arent worth your time. Its very frustrating i know. I have been dealing with the same problems for a while as well. Whatever you do dont give up, listen to your body, and do what YOU feel is the right thing to do. I just wish i could could give you a hug and tell you that i know exactly how you feel. Dont ever be afraid to look to others for help, sometimes a good friend to talk to is the best medicine :) Im here for you, anytime. Tomorrow is a new day and the sun will rise and shine on you because you deserve it! One day at time hun, and things will turn around. I hope all goes well for you at your doctor, and wish you all the best! Dont be afraid to email me if you ever need someone to lean on. I know personally its nice to know you have someone that you can just whine to about everything and not have them judge you. Take care hun, hope you let me know how your apt goes! PS: Happy Valentine's DAY!! |

Thanks Lori & Kari for your replys and prayers! Needless to say I didn't get an appt with my GI doc nor did he even return my phone call. So I called my primary care doc and got a referral for a new GI and I have an appt in 2 weeks. Lori, I'm not on probiotics. I'm not familiar with them? I have been eating that Activia yogurt, but I don't know if its helping or not. I'm thinking of seeing a naturopathic doc. The hard part now is waiting two weeks for my appt. Today is not a good day at all so far. I started eating my breakfast and started having major pains and some nausea. Most of the time I feel bloated and full and other issues. I have changed my diet...no red meat, no dairy & no caffeine. I don't know what is triggering these episodes so I will start keeping a journal. Just please continue to pray for me. I'm tired and frustrated. Melissa |

probiotics can be found at your local healthfood store (as can possible contacts for a naturopath usually). basically they are a better version of the stuff in the activia yogurt - the healthy bacteria without the dairy that so many of ladies are intolerant of! I'm sorry you've been feeling so crummy, but i know how you feel as i have ibs as well. for now it is under control, but i certainly notice when i eat (sometime inadvertently - read read read those ingredient lists!) something i shouldn't. i'll be praying! God bless, steph |
