Questions about Candida diet!!!!

I have been doing some research into the candida diet and am wanting to know what the benefits and side effects(if any) there are. I am really thinking about trying the diet. I am just sick and tired of being sick and tired and am willing to try anything. Also if someone is currently on the diet can you give me some tips and recipes that you like please share them with me. I am really wanting to try the diet but want to get all my facts before starting it.

Re: Questions about Candida diet!!!!

Hi!

There are several versions of the candida diet, depending on the source. Which on are you looking at? Is it the one by Dr. Cook in the book "The Yeast Connection?"

There is also a book you might want to read called "Tired of Being Tired". It is about adrenal fatigue.

Let us know which candida diet you are looking at and then maybe some of us can give you more input.

Feel better soon,

Well...I am not even sure what diet I am looking at. Which one is the best for you. I am open to all suggestions. I am not sure how it works or which is the best to choose.

Re: Questions about Candida diet!!!!

Hello! If you have candida, like many do with endo then you will have great improvements, but should also take probiotics and more....
perhaps you can do a "candida spit test" google that and do it in the morning. My test has always matched up with my stool test. If it is negative, then can still have it, but I think if it is positive, then do have it. If you have it, then perhaps like many of us, your endo will get better, hormones will get balanced and fatigue and all of your health should improve. Maybe read my post below written about candida-called candida, endo and more. Let us know how it goes ok.

I think there are some variances among the diets, but the MAIN FACTOR Is no sugar of any kind. Since I have been fighting it for years, I can see what sets it off and a spec of sugar, honey, raisin...will grow it. The only thing that does not grow it is stevia as that proves true with me.

Love to ya dear,
Lori
