A question for endo sufferers with IBS
My IBS symptoms started a year ago when I went to a doctor visit to discuss infertility problems. The visit included a physical exam - both vaginal and rectal exams - to look/feel for endo. Within 24 hours, I started having pain in my lower left hip. The pain got worse. I finally had a lap in Sept 2007 to have endo removed. Unfortunately, the IBS symptoms along with the pain (lower left) have never gone away. Does this sound like IBS to you? I have heard from other doctors (not GI doctors) that the colon is VERY sensitive and the smallest disruption can take months to correct. Any thoughts? P.S. I'm headed to see a GI specialist at the end of March - the earliest appt available! |
