Prayer requests-Part 3

Please post your prayer requests here. You can also start a new post. Please know even if you do not get a response that you will be prayed for.

Almighty Father, we know that you remember the prayers and needs of all of those on the other posts. Please also remember the ones put here. Speak boldly to our souls and bring your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus name, amen.

Well I could not decide which video to put, so I am putting 2 of them.

2 Samuel 22:7 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, and my cry entered His ears.

Isaiah 40:29 He giveth power to the faint; and to him that hath no might he increaseth strength.

Re: Prayer requests-Part 3

I'm in pain, and I'm having trouble functioning on a day-to-day basis. I have been to so many doctors and tried many different things to ease the pain (surgery, diets, etc). Nothing seems to help. Please pray that the Lord will provide answers soon. And also pray that I will find the strength to get up each morning.

Thank you. And may God bless all of you!

Re: Prayer requests-Part 3

Hey Emily,
I just saw your post, so sorry this is a little late. I'm sorry that your in pain and not feeling! I know you said you have tried a lot of things, but I was wondering if you have tried seeing a naturopathic dr? I always thought they were a quack, but after reading info about naturopathic medicine, being frustrated with regular drs and meds with side effects that don't wrk, and hearing about probiotics, candida, out of whack hormone levels, etc I went to see one last week. Although its only been a wk, I have felt better the last few days.
Its just a though for you. The look and things and try things regular drs do not.

I will be praying for you to feel better and for direction on what's best for you!
God Bless

Re: Prayer requests-Part 3

I have a prayer request for the continued candida saga. All has been going well thanks to the Lord, but all that it takes is a tiny bit of sugar in anything and I had a protein bar that contained it. It has set me back again and crawling sensation under my skin and can feel it in my lungs again yesterday and today. I am going to have to choose gluten(am allergic)in an emergency weak moment instead of fruit/sugars. It is impossible to be perfect with my foods but it is detrimental to my health. Lord help!

Lord, you say in your word to be like the persistant widow and I am knocking on your door loudly and not giving up, because you have said to. Please bring me hope again and keep me away from the wrong foods as there are so many. Thank you for bring me this far and for your comfort. In Jesus name, amen.

Re: Prayer requests-Part 3

Melissa,
Thank you for the suggestion. I will start looking for a naturopathic doctor tomorrow. I'm willing to try almost anything to make the pain go away. I'll keep you updated.

Lori,
I am praying for you. My GI doc has me on a low-glycemic diet (thinking that some of the pain could be GI instead of endo). Anyway, it can be so difficult at times to stay on the diet. I feel your pain. After reading posts over the last several months, I know that you struggle daily with candida issues. I think of you often when I'm struggling. And I pray for you always.

Re: Prayer requests-Part 3

I have an update/prayer request.
I received a copy of lab results from my visit with my PCP last Thursday. I had my 2nd appt with my naturopathic dr today and she she went over the results with me. My Ferritin level was 1, my Vitamin D/Calcium was 7 and hemoglobin was 9.7. She said that there is something serious going on and these blood results confirm that. I also took her paperwork from my endoscopy report from a yr ago and she said it stated in the report inflammation of some sort. In VA the naturapthic drs are not licensed so I had to go to my PCP for lab work. My PCP didn't order the whole celiac panel, but just one test and not the antibody test. My naturopathic dr feels and I do also that I have Celiac disease. So I'm going on a permant Celiac diet and no dairy. She gave me a multi vitamin, iron supplement, vitamin C supp and castor oil packs.
Please pray I will be able to do this permanent diet and that this is the problem and I will get better!
Thank God I found this naturopathic dr.
God Bless You All

Re: Prayer requests-Part 3

Hello Melissa!
I have been where you are. Boy oh boy it can be rough. It is so good knowing what is wrong, but it certainly is bittersweet. Praise to the Lord for finding out though. Most people never understand what is wrong with them and go on for decades unable to pinpoint it. My friend and I both have celiac or pre-celiac. It seems to go along with malabsorbtion of vitamins as I have had similiar problems. Please be tested for candida also. My brother and his son and I also have gluten, dairy problems and also have candida problems! I do not understand the correlation really.

Try not to get overwhelmed and take it one day at a time ok relying on Him for strength as he is always so faithful to give it. (phillipians 4:13)

Keep in mind ok-YOU ARE GOING TO FEEL WAY BETTER!! It may be hard to do, but overall your health will start to improve. Perhaps have your dr. test your iodine level too ok. You should notice an improvement in health pretty quickly. My friend noticed within a month...

Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ for answers and we thank you and ask for help with our needs.

Love,
Lori

Ladies I am in need of prayer...Feeling really down and this menopausal stuff since my surgery is really making me feel awful. I need the Lord to show me what I really need to do because I am worried about taking the estriadol that the gyn put me on because I started having pain like before surgery and I am scared all the endo is not gone.....Also, I am spiritually feeling very alone and have fallen down in my bible reading, prayer and worship since my surgery in Jan and I really need God to help me right now....I haven't felt like this before in my christian walk and it's scary....Sorry post so long, I am just weary and I needed some of my sister's to pray with me in agreement. Thanks and God bless you all!!!

Re: Prayer requests-Part 3

Hi everyone - I am brand new here and just found this site today. I can't tell you how excited I am to have found a site like this!

Is it okay if I share a little of my history? (Sorry if this isn't the right place to do this!) My husband and I have been ttc since November 2006. In March 2007 two large cysts were discovered, one on each ovary ... more tests, appointments, etc, and our (almost) worst fears were confirmed last month when I had a lap. Severe endo is now official (it was strongly suspected before) and one tube is damaged from the disease. The only good news is that it's not completely impossible to conceive - we had been trying to prepare for that.

We want a child so badly but realize it may not happen. I have been feeling rather depressed the past week or two as the news from the surgery has been sinking in, and would love some prayer. I'm starting to look into the endo diet and other changes I can make to keep the disease at bay. Of course we are hoping to have a baby, but right now I'm too afraid to be hoepful for much.

I promise that I'm not always such a downer - this is just a really rough time for me. Thank you for this site.

Re: Prayer requests-Part 3

A friend of my husband's family killed himself last friday. He was only 24 years old. He ws suffering from depression and as many people do he hid it very well. This young man was a very caring indvidual and would do anything in the world for anyone. He was the Volunteer Fire Chief in the city he lived in and was involved in the police force. He always put others needs before his own and if someone needed help they knew he would be there. His family is having a hard time right now...so I ask that you will keep them in your prayers.

Re: Prayer requests-Part 3

Can you guys please pray for my bunny. He has been losing weight and eating a lot of food. I took him to the vets today and they took some blood work and have to drop off some stool samples tommorow. I hope he gets well, because he is my last bunny of 5 for awhile and turned one this year. Actully, I thought he was a girl for a whole year today and found out Buttercup is really a BOY?! LOL yea poor baby, what a puny name for a boy. If I had known earlier, he would of been renamed Buster LOL.

Also, I have an appointment with the Pulmonologist this Thursday, please pray that we can figure out what is making me so sick, so I can get the right treatment and get better 100%. Thanks!

Re: Prayer requests-Part 3

Hi Andrea! I pray for your bunnies health in Jesus name, amen. I pray for your drs. appt that he leads you to good nutrition and the specific treatment that is right for you. In Jesus name, amen.

Here is my prayer request that I put on the prayer chain at church.
I pray for an end to this immune system problem that I have. I have been chronically ill most of my life. The fatigue is the worst part of it and I am tired of the daily struggles. I think it is time now that things change if God is willing that is. Hopefully he is leading me in that area to say this. I am getting very weary and really think that it is time, but need lots of prayer. I have done everything to build up my health and have been like the persistant widow asking and not giving up and have ministered because of it and still plan to. I thank the Lord for what he has done in my life because of it.

Thank you Lord in advance! Help me to run a marathon some day to show your mighty healing work.

Hello,
I need prayer for treatment decisions. I am waiting a for test results for the candida-stool and urine. I may have to go on difulcan for 30 days or more with liver monitoring. Difulcan can harm the liver. Lord, please bring your direction. Thank you!

Re: Prayer requests-Part 3

I'd like to ask for prayer as I have been feeling so cold and tired and I have had some nausea. I have had no desire to eat, but I have had to eat a bit because of the antibiotics I'm taking.
I'm not sure what's going on. I'm still seeing drs regarding probs from my car accident, but praise GOD I'm doing well post surgery.
Thank and God Bless

Re: Prayer requests-Part 3

Hey Everyone!

I need prayer too. I was hit with my allergies and it is really getting the best of me. My lungs are flaring up and I am taking prednisone almost every other day now. I took 120mg of it today just to get through work, but it is taking the best of my body and mind. I am achy, coughing, winded, cannot talk to long periods of time. I cannot go outside feeling like I am going to pass out because of all the allergens. I just feel really miserable and hope this goes away soon. Please pray for me. Thanks
Andrea

P.S. Thanks for praying for me today Lori. Sorry, I could not hear all that you said, because I felt horrible, but I appreciated it.
