Well....I feel I spoke to soon!

I was doing really good with my stomach issues. I am eating a lot healthier and I have felt better, but today my stomach started acting up again. I had already scheduled an appointment with a stomach doctor about 2 weeks ago. Decided this morning that maybe I should go see him. He wants to do a colonoscopy and a Upper GI endoscopy. I am kinda of having reserves about this. I have had one before and all the doctor wanted to say was that I had a nervous stomach. I am also scared that he is going to say that I am having stomach problems because of the endo and then my insurance company is not going to cover this procedure either. You know the whole Pre existing thing that insurance companies like to pull. SOrry to write a book! I am just really worried that I am going to miss more work and have more medical bills to pay and nothing get diagnosed. Sorry to vent.
I just hope and pray that if there is something wrong with me they find it. I love my job and know that I am walking on thin ice right now because I have missed so much work already! Sorry to ramble on!
Please pray for me! Pray that I have the strength to get through this and that I know that God does love me and that I am not alone!

Re: Well....I feel I spoke to soon!

Everyone needs to vent sometime! Your situation sounds similar to mine. I have had stomach issues as well as other health probs as long back as I can remember and as I aged the probs have seem to become more and things have worsened. Until recently that is!
I had had all kinds of tests and I was questioning my drs. So after reading about natural health and certain health issues I decided to seek a naturopathic dr. I guess I have been seeing her like about a month or a little more. I feel better than I have in awhile. I'm eating vegan. I have eggs, but besides that I have no red meat and only chicken occasionally. No dairy. I eat mostly organic fresh vegies and fruit. She diagnosed me as having celiac disease so I also have no gluten. This diet change has been major for me and I know it needs to become permanent. I'm also taking a multi vitamin, cod liver oil, probiotic, castor oiil packs, etc. I'm excersing when I can.
Have you tried seeing a naturopathis dr? I believe I'm feeling better 1st because of prayers and I'm greatful to have found this dr. I'm trusting God each day for things to stay steady and to stay on my diet.
Ill keep you in my prayers! Just know your not alone.

Hello! Do not be discouraged! Natural healing is 2 steps up and then 1 step back. Continue on my dear with the Lord leading, reading God's word and with eating as best as you can and adding supplements as needed. I will put together an endometriosis program post in a bit...

Love to you,
Lori
