Update on stomach issues!
Good day endo sisters! I have finished the antibiotics for the parasite and infection. Wow!! That was a rough ride. I am also taking meds to help with the stomach cramping that I have along with the diarrhea. I have to say that slowly but surely it is starting to help. I feel that I have yet to really give the meds a chance. As they say that it can take up to a month for the meds to work to their full potential. Also, I got a call from the Doc office and they said that they got the biopsy report back from the colonoscopy and I have ulcerative colitis. I have tried doing as much research as I can on this condition. It is like my body is doomed. Now I have two diseases that are not cureable and will have the rest of my life. The thing that amazes me the most is that neither one of them they can't tell why one will have it and another from the same family will not. The thing that I keep on telling myself is that God has a plan for me. Even though I have no clue what it is I know that he has a plan and that he loves me. Like the old saying goes:"He will only give as much as you can handle" Thank you all for showing me love and support through this trying time. It makes me feel so much better that I can come to this site and not only share what is going on with me but get Godly advice. Plus I am starting to learn that I can do all things through God. This site has not only helped me strenghten mentally but spiritually.

I am sooooooooo glad that you got answers. I have been doing my reasarch on the same things such as ulcerawhaterver colitis, and intestines. I am in pain everyday. I can't wait to go to the doctors on the 24th. To get answers. Thanks for sharing your life. Its always an encouragement to see God strengthen His children and for them to endure hardship like a good soldier. It gives me hope that I can do all things through Christ also. Love, Nettie |

Can you explain some of you symptoms? My RE thinks that some of my pain may be GI related. I don't really understand how the doctors can tell the difference between GI problems and OB problems. If you don't mind, can you give me a few details? |
