Thank you for your reply. It is helpful to know when this information was published. I agree that unfortunately, this church may no longer be standing. As a side note, I also have Miller relatives but they are from Fairfield District, S.C. and settled around Bloomington.
Thanks again,
Jane
Jane, it is possible that some information might be found in the Monroe County Historical society about that Beech Creek Church. Beech Creek township touches on its eastern border with Monroe county and they have very extensive research facilities both in their public library and at the LDS church in Bloomington. Good luck.
DNA testing has identified some of my Miller bloodline settled into SC, they are thought to be brothers of Casper Miller, or Michael Miller his father. They migrated into WV and KY. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a DNA connection between my Miller bloodline and yours.
Used to be only men could be used in the testing because men provide the Y chromosome. The "Y" chromosome is dropped by their daughters since women have 2 "X" chromosomes and no "Y" chromosome. Now women can be tested to determine their relationship with a family bloodline.
You can read all about it on the homepage of this website.
