Unfortunately this is very difficult to do and in some cases impossible. Many of the players out there (quicktime, windows media, real player, etc...) do not allow recording of streaming media. I have seen in the past programs that run in the background and save the information to a file, but I haven't heard anyone who has had success with these.
Your best option might be to see if the person putting on the webcast has a recorded copy available for download on the website. Many companies do this to make their broadcasts available to those who might not be abble to attend the live broadcasts.
Good luck.

Does anyone know of a way to record a live webcast, for viewing at a later date?
