Maybe there is a clue in the Birth Cert? Contact Authority that issued it. Or Somerset House, if that is still the place.

Could be something to do with Aden actually being British. Like all the mail did not get addressed to Aden, but BFPO 69.

People have asked similar questions on the other Aden website, so someone will know.
