Whoever did the tab for Safe and Sound by Sheryl Crow must be completely deaf! NONE of the lyrics are right, and if you listen to the album they're crystal clear! HERE are the REAL words:

This version was transcribed from a live performance, I'm sure you'll allow the artist more leeway than myself.
