Old song lyrics

Looking for words to an old song, part of lyrics as follows: (probably from the fifties)
Down in Bermuda, paradise for two
I lost (or found?) my lover, somewhere on the blue

We were sailing on the coral sea
starlit waters, my lover and me
Time was endless, love sang its song

(that's all I remember...I first heard it in the
fifties, my then boyfriend (now my husband of 50 yrs)
sang it to me as he played the guitar, sort of
flamenco style or South American???, combined with drumming on the base of the guitar with a beat.
I was so impressed, but he always left out a few words here and there when he sang and played it. I want him to sing it for our 50th celebration, but with all the words...no excuses to cut it short. Can anyone help me find the words? Many thanks.

Sentimental me

Is this the one?

Bermuda by the Bell Sisters (1952)

Down in Bermuda Paradise for two
I lost my lover There on the blue

We went sailing On a coral sea
Starlit waters My darling and me

Time was endless Love sang its song
We dreamed of tomorrow Now he is gone

I see his lips In the coral
I see his eyes In the water blue
I see his hair In the glowing sunlight
A vision clear Calling me near

In Bermudan waters Oh, so clear and cold
I wait my loved one As I grow old

I wait my loved one As I grow old

Best wishes on your anniversary!

Re: Re: Old song lyrics

Thank you so much! That's perfect. I don't think my husband ever did know all the words! He plays it very well though, sounds as if he's playing guitar and drum all at same time. Now he won't have any excuse when I ask him to play the song at our party, the first one I ever heard him play. How impressed I was! Still am, after 50 yrs. Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. You made my day!

Re: Old song lyrics - Coral Sea

additional lyrics to Coral Sea question

dreaming of tomorrow
and now she's gone...

My cousin, Barbara had this song.. I was about 7 years old and used to listen to her records.. I still have this song going around in my head..

Very plaintive sounding beautiful melody..

These are the only words I can contribute as I remember them

Re: Re: Old song lyrics - Coral Sea

Thanks for your reply. Someone did send me the words, here they are if you want them. Funny, when he sang it to me, it all seemed so romantic, the tune and all. Still does, but the words don't exactly fit...he did change the "he" to "she" when he sang it. Of course I was easily impressed in those younger days. Still am after 50 years, and I still like to hear him sing and play the guitar.
I am glad I didn't have to mourn the loss of my love in Bermudan Waters. Like you said, it was sort of a haunting tune. Thanks again.
