I have an old chute of my father's and someone(OK I was only 11 at the time..) pulled the ripcord. This is WWII fighter chute...the one that you sit on. Does anyone have any info on securing the chute. It is not deployed...only cord pulled and both halves seperate. We want to put it in the Richard Bong Memorial in Superior, WI and I would like to "put it together" for the display. I can send photos if needed! Any help or suggestions on where to go will be greatly appreciated!
