What should beginners know about riding?
Hello!
I'm very nervous of horses but I'd love to learn to ride. I know NOTHING about riding, but I am planning to take a lesson when on holiday in Cornwall. What important things should I know about my first encounter with a horse and riding? I've borrowed a few books, but they don't seem to say anything about this topic. Does anyone have any tips on horsey psychology?
