I am a fourteen year old girl and have been around horses since i was four, also I've loaned my own horse,so I feel I'm ready for my own horse.The other day my parents told me that if the farmer agrees I can use 1 and a half acres of his land then they will buy me my first horse . I havent yet asked him but before I do i would like a knowledgible horse owner to tell me how much it will cost per year to keep a 15.2hh-16hh who will stay in at night in the winter and out to graze for the rest of the year.

*Jabs
*Worming
*Farrier
*Feeds (I'll be hacking every other day and a little jumping and local showing some weekends)
*Hay
*And Straw (only needed in the winter)

I have written up a price list myself but that is only my estimates of prices. I would really appreciate any advice and tips aswell as the price list. With me only being fourteen i need to keep it as cheap and cheerful as I can, and so would my parents as they are contributing aswell!!
