I am trying to find info for a friend. His uncle Angelo J. Epifanio died 11/15/1942. He lived in Caldwell NJ and trained at Fort bragg NC until sept 1942. He was a Private first class. He was age 25. He died in combat. So I am trying to figure out his unit. I am guessing that he died at Guadacancal. Not really sure if he was in the Pacific or not. He is buried at Arlington Natl Cem.
