I ran into a 4BCT trooper on his way back to Iraq while on a domestic flight a couple months ago. Didn't catch his name cause he slept the entire way and I thought he needed that more than yakking, but I'd like to send something to those folks. Are there any orgs in AK or HI or elsewhere that are specifically doing things for that unit, and maybe accepting donations ? Or does anyone know of a support-the-troops op that lets you specify a unit to receive what you give ? I've looked but haven't found one.
