Looking for McBride from 65th Combat Engineers and WWII

I am trying to help locate a McBride, first name unknown from Utah. He served in Japan and was discharged on Dec 12th 1947. He was in the 65th Combat Engineers Battalion. A first name would really help. This is for a buddy in his unit..

I am with the 65th Engineers, I am looking for a guest speaker for the Battalions Anniversary. By any chance are you on the Island or do you anyone that is? Thank you for your time.
