PFC Mark W. Longtin, was killed in action on 20SEP68 in Long An Province, Vietnam.

His brother, Dale Longtin, lives next door to me and just returned from the annual family gathering at the Vietnam Memorial.

I am looking for anyone that can provide any information regarding the loss of Mark Longtin or any information about what was going on at the time of his loss. The family would greatly appreciate knowingly more details of Mark's time in Vietnam and how he was killed.

I believe he was assigned to 1st PLT/D Co/2nd BN/14th Infantry while in Vietnam.
