Re: A co. 1st/27 th Wolfhounds 85-88

Dale,
you did just miss me. Who was the CO?

Re: A co. 1st/27 th Wolfhounds 85-88

Capt. Poltorick,I think I spelled it right. 1Sgt. Ball was there.Old Ball And I had a few good down to earth butt chewings in his office.I really would like to met up with him again and say thanks for the hard nose approach.Kept me out of trouble and I stayed in for another 4 years after that.Got out after Persian Gulf.
Also made E-5 and was training M-60 gunners when I got out.Should have stayed in. Dale

Interesting! I think that was the same CO as I was exiting.

Salcedo

Re: A co. 1st/27 th Wolfhounds 85-88

I was in 1st platoon from summer of '85 to early '87. Spent most of the time in the weapons squad as a M60 gunner. I remember Cpt. Poltarik and 1Sgt Ball very well. "Body by Ball" as I remember it.

Awesome unit!!!
