25th Inftry. 1953-55 Schofield info on Cecil F. Nickelson from St.Joseph, Illinois and Urbana, Illin

Looking for anyone that served with my father Cecil F. Nickelson from St. Joseph and Urbana, Illinois. Dad started in the 101st Airborne. He then was in the 45th and then to the 25th Infantry. He left Korea and went to Schofield were he was incharge of a group of men to rebuild the barricks. I know that he spent a lot of his spare time with a family that owned the Monkey Bar in Pearl City, Hawaii. We need any info any might have on him and what rank he held. the info on the DD214 is not correct and the papers were destroyed in a fire in the 70's in St.Louis,MO.
