I'm the person who wrote you concerning the Dawson house on Wolfe Island. Can you tell me where it is located on the island (concession lot, etc). There were two Dawson families on the island. I am a descendant of John B. Dawson (originally owned the Woodman Hotel). Don't know if the house belonged to other Dawsons from that branch.
Thanks,

I had an e-mail from someone, wanting to know the location of the old Dawson house on Wolfe Island. I didn't get a chance to answer it right then and thought I had saved it. But now I can't find it. If the person who wrote me will drop me a line I will be glad to answer it. They were descendants of the Dawsons. The house is no longer there but the row of popler (SP.) trees still line the driveway. My grandparents were married in that house in 1905. Hope to hear back from you. Thelma Moye
