I am trying to locate my fathers old work colleague from Stanlow Refinery. He has been trying to find him, but has given up. So Searching for Huw Morgan brought my to this place as there was a Lesley Morgan here as well... thought they may be David Huw Morgan and Lesley Anne Morgan, but not sure

Dear people of Christleton

Thank you for planting a Cherry tree in the new meadow village for my daughter CHIZURU on her birthday. What a wonderfull thought, each year a Cherry tree will blossom in Christleton
in her memory.
Also we would like to express our sincerest thanks to Mr Tony Gardner,Mrs Evelyn Wilson,
Mrs Helen Clifton,Mrs Beryl and Mr David Cummings for attending the ceremony. We
especially wish to express our gratitude to Mr Cummings who has organised everything for it.

Chizuru joined Primary school at the age of 9.
She could learn English quickly and she got many friends there. We were impressed with MrCummings's marvellous teaching and education in Christleton.
She had a happiest time in her life at both Christleton Primary and High school.

Wishing you A Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for The New Year

I am a former resident of Christleton - Attended both Christleton Primary and High Schools. Have wonderful memories of all my headmasters - Mr. Cummings, Mr. George and Mr. Hodges.

It is wonderful to see how the village has changed throughout the years.

Where are you from?

Littleton

I moved to Littleton when my parents had the bungalow built next door to Priddey's, in their orchard in 1960, lived in Chester all my life though. Went to The Ursuline Convent School from 1947 - 1959. Married and moved home. Moved back to Littleton again about ten years ago when my father Sam Reynard died. I now run personal colour analysis courses from home under "House of Colour" franchise. I love Littleton/Christleton and reckon I'm here till I drop. For a free info. guide on Colour & Image give me your details.

I was just looking at your web site for the swans and would like to correct the information there. They actually left the Pit on the Saturday morning as I was pacjing our car to go to Whitby for the week end my husband Richard stopped the traffic and guided them around the corner to the Old Hall and then the Rector took over then as we had to leave. it was an amazing site. and was one of the highlight of living opposite the Pit. We are now back home in Melbourne Australia. and must say had a wonderful time living in Christleton Village. It was truly a great experience

I am trying to trace some family members, in particular a "J S Evans", in 1947 he registered his fathers death Walter Valentine Evans. The address given on the certificate for the informant (JS Evans) was Brown Heath, Waverton, Chester.
JS Evans would be our 1st cousin, his mothers name was Esther Anne Evans (nee Swift). I would love to hear of any information or leads.
