I don't know what to say but my mother was killed in Saturday afternoon there was a lot of shooting in CRATER but I suppose that the shoot came from the mountain side maybe a sniper we tried to took her to thehospital but we couldn't they fired on my father's car .. I'm so **** sad and can't stop crying my mother was a professor in the faculty of arts in Aden but now she's gone -INSHAALLAH SHAHEEDA - in Islam when someone suddenly killed without any reason or get killed when he's fighting for the sake of Islam God except this person as a martyr.. may God except my mother as a martyr.. she was so young 42years old..I know that she's in a better place now in paradise...

Haneen. Everyone will be shocked too, and sad for you and your family. We will be watching and praying that things will improve in Aden.

Do not stop crying for your mother, but believe that she will be looked after in Gods house.

Haneen, that is such awful news but as you say, she was a martyr and God will care for her. Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss and prayers that you stay safe.
What is happening in Aden now is terrible and our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Everyone on this site is here because we love Aden and the people who have made it what it is: A jewel in the East. Like any fine jewel it will be dusted off and will shine again.
