Hello All,
Remember it well The first time was in a VW mini bus and then progressing to a posher TOYOTA one. The roundabout you refer to was known as the Shenaz one - that was the name of the cinema there. My teacher was a Mr Wilson. We used to stop at His on the way home for a Stim and a small break. At one time we had a teacher with us called Mrs Tufnell, who was married to a serviceman based in Bir Fuqum barracks.
