Here is the latest on Vets getting the Vaccine: Under this plan, we’ll first offer vaccines to these 2 groups: Veterans living in our long-term care facilities, and VA health care personnel. Vaccinating our high-risk VA health care personnel helps us continue providing care for Veterans. We based this plan on these criteria from CDC guidelines: Risk of becoming infected with the virus Risk of severe illness and death from COVID-19 Risk of spreading the virus to others Risk of harm to society if essential workers, including health care personnel, are unable to work After the first 2 groups, we’ll begin to offer vaccines to more Veterans who are at high risk of severe illness from COVID-19. |

ATTENTION WOLFHOUNDS I am Dick Arnold, served with the 35th Infantry in Vietnam, 1967-1968. I am a member of The Coffelt Database of Vietnam casualties: http://www.coffeltdatabase.org/ We are a not-for-profit project that has accumulated much documentation for KIAs, including categories such as: particulars of Incident, burial location, official records confirming unit (generally to company level or equivalent), etc. Please feel free to do a Name Search to view what we have for a specific individual. All this is available at no cost for viewing. A category that is of particular interest for many viewers is the Field Map Grid for individual Incidents. We show 950 total KIAs for the two Wolfhound battalions; of those we still need grids for 575. We are inquiring if you might have hard documentation, such as Daily Journals, etc., that contain such information? We are quite willing to help by supplying a spreadsheet of names still needing grids, sorted by date, unit, or whatever would be helpful. We would also be willing to do the actual searching if the documents were provided to us. We also would likely accept solid generic locations, such as xxx kilometers for fire bases, etc. Looking forward in working together to accomplish this worthwhile goal Dick Arnold indyrja@yahoo.com |
